Good knife, poor handle
The media could not be loaded. It's very sharp and very light at 265g (for a veg cleaver) which is exactly what I wanted. The finish on the handle isn't great, but a little sanding made it bearable. The sandblasted edge feature does nothing to prevent food from sticking, but that's expected.

I would not buy it.
The picture provided does not accurately represent the product given. The initial beveling left gouges in the metal for which I ordered two-thousand grit automotive sandpaper to correct. The edge does not last through a days prep for the line. Hand is loosening from the blade. I would return it if possible

The sharpest knife in your drawer!
Excellent for slicing, and chopping. Has the Japanese 15 degree angel cutting edge, so it'll stay sharp for a very long time. Masahiro is a brand you can trust, they've been doing this for ages. Easily cuts through chicken bones, pork rib bones, etc. This is your high-end Chinese cleaver.

But this is the best one so far
The knife was well made and works well. We have used many knives in years. But this is the best one so far. Keep in mind that this knife is for cutting not for chopping bones.

I've had this knife for 11 years now! I bought one to think I might need to replace it at one point.. The back up is still im my knife bag, because I still use the original one.
