‘Ego is the enemy of all, including men.’
Author Stella Belmar is a Certified Dating Coach and a Certified Law of Attraction Coach and has written five books to date on advice to both women and men about the dating game. Her books include THE ROAD TO CONFIDENCE, WHAT WOMEN REALLY LIKE IN A MAN, READ HER SIGNS, FLIRT HER UP, and now PULL HER CLOSER. She brings to the world of singles her extensive experience in the dating field. For over 14 years, she has studied what drives love, dating and relationships, both in the U.S. and internationally. Stella offers a unique perspective on what works for singles of any age, demographic or type. Her holistic approach integrates her vast knowledge with psychological and spiritual insights. As Stella has said, ‘As we've entered the 21st century, we need to adjust our behavior for who we are and what our needs are. It is no longer enough to play the same dating game we've been taught to by society and culture."Stella offers her counseling technique and reasons for caring in her Introduction – ‘A company I once worked for had a saying engraved on a board in every office that read: “Never Assume Anything.” This pertained specifically to how to deal with clients and reports we would prepare for them. I always think of this as a very wise metaphor for life. In my practice as a dating and relationship coach, I find that this serves especially well men and women who are trying to find dates or even their life partner. Many misunderstandings happen because one or both parties quickly assume something about the other’s behavior, words or feelings that may not at all be true. In this book, I’d like to share with you common and less common mistakes that happen during the dating process and in relationships with women. As women are intuitive beings, it is sometimes difficult for men to gauge or understand where they stand with them. In turn, assumptions get easily made, which often leads to not just misunderstandings but plain-out missed opportunities. I hope that armed with this knowledge, men would be able to better understand the other sex, approach women from a more open-minded perspective and not take things personally when there’s no reason to. So, to all the guys out there: I applaud you for your courage and determination to learn about women and try to be a better man every day. The world needs more of you and I’m happy to share some of the techniques that could embolden you in your pursuit of love, sex and happiness!‘Each of her sections on the 48 attraction mistakes men make hold our attention because of statements such as the following – ‘Women are tired of games, lying and manipulation. If you want to stand out, why not try a refreshing maneuver: being honest.’‘Find the strength to be a responsible individual who can express his needs and desires in a straightforward way, as well as resolve conflicts and misunderstandings with a proactive and open-minded attitude.’ Among the tips she shares her focus is always on helping men find their true selves and understanding who they are and what they want and sharing that honest suitor with the object of their affection. The book is short, readable, applicable and valuable if the goal in mind is creating a meaningful relationship. Grady Harp, August 18

Really useful book
I didn’t even realize some of the mistakes I made in dating. This helped me fix my relationship with my gf. The book shows relationships from their (women's) perspective, not ours. Highly recommended for all you guys who feel you're doing something wrong in this department but can't figure out exactly what.

Beware
The problem with dating in reality and works of this type are they fail to address the legal reality of dating in todays western world.Whatever happens between you and her, you will be blamed and you are legally, even perhaps criminally responsible for any misunderstandings that may result. She has no such responsibility and supposedly possesses infinite wisdom. You are to blame and are the problem. It's absurdity on a grand scale. Many guys learn these lessons the hard way.Just lead and forget about what she thinks. If she is anything but compliant, next. It just isn't worth the risk.Very sad state of affairs, but that's where we're at.

Stella gives a refreshing and inspiring perspective in this book. A lovely read.
A hint at the lovely content this book contains Stella is just brutally straightforward she writes "If you have some impressive goals, you better be able to show that you’re working toward realizing those. Otherwise, you’ll just look ridiculous. She’ll see through your tricks and your efforts to impress her will be wasted." Guys Stella's book is worth the read you'll feel different learning what she teaches.
