Hey, just to let you know this is normal for most types of indoor balls. Real leather balls are the best quality, but also need the most "breaking in." dribbling a lot and shooting around with it will help soften the leather to improve the cushion and grip. After a couple of sessions you should notice it start to improve, and once broken in they perform the best and have a great feel.
