Right for the job, unfortunately, I got the wrong size

These were a poor fit and I had to silicone them on. Poor measurement description on website

Ordered a similar set from a Toilet Spares Company and they sent the wrong item. Had to return them and pay postage. Weeks later after chasing them they set the item ordered but that still did not fit. They have the wrong item against the correct makers part number. I gave up with them at this point. I ordered these as they show the full dimensions. I knew the pins were too large but was able to reduce their diameter to a secure fit. I now have a spare set of buffers at half the cost of the previous ones, very happy.

Unfortunately they were not the right size Same design except they were longer and thinner that what was needed.

A Top Quality Product

Based on another recent review, I believed that the Pin Dia would be 8mm and the pitch would be 25mm. The pitch is fine but the actual pin dia on those I received was only 6.5mm - and the holes in the toilet seat require 8mm. They might fit (for a while at least) if you pre-fill the hole with Silicone but, in my view, they will eventually fall out. You could use something like Araldite, which would certainly hold them in, but then when they finally did require replacing you would have an awful job recreating the hole for new ones. They are useless and are being returned. The packet read: Buffers Esedra/Newson/Cantica Seat WHT T217601 Ideal Standard Int NV, Belgium.

Nothing wrong with the product except they don’t fit.,I tried to get accurate measurements, but it isn’t exactly clear on the website. I would purchase again from the same company if I could get the correct measurements. A couple of mil out which obviously makes all the difference.
