These are perfect for the initial cleaning of face. They are soft and hold up well to liquid face cleanser or nail polish remover. These are the only ones I'll buy. And I wished I remembered the vendor's name as I've found that many reviews on Amazon don't apply to the same vendor or the exact same product. A big frustration when purchasing on Amazon. Anyway, these are soft any gentle on the skin where regular cotton pads are not.
