Hoover battery

Definitely doesnt work for DC44!
Ordered the item, on arrival opened the box and compared it against the already removed original Dyson DC44 battery type B and the charging hole doesn't even pair up in right position it doesnt work with original charger so god only knows how your meant to charge it? it however does fit the unit, guessing youll need a different charger to charger the battery as original dyson one doesnt fit it. Returning the item to be told i have to pay return postage! Wasnt happy with this! So be warned and dont buy this item if your buying for a DC44. Would give it no stars if i could!

Money saving
Was able to keep my dyson vacuum and saved me money buying a new one. It came with instructions how to remove the old battery. Very happy so far with it.

Ensure hoover is docked correctly to charge and light is on.
Please note that if the battery does not hold it's charge, it is because the charging lead does not connect properly when docked. Push the lead into the hoover when docked. The plug light should be on. This small issue stops it being a perfect replacement but otherwise works well with long working cycle.

Nice to hoover again..
The battery on my Dyson had stopped charging so I ordered a new replacement. It arrived before the date that it was expected on which I was very happy about, I know, sad right? It was an easy change to swap the batteries around, get it fully charged so I could hoover my house again. I am very pleased with this product and aim to get another one so that I am not caught out of not being able to hoover my house for another month again!
