Vive Cervical Collar Neck Brace for Neck Pain and Support for Women & Men

This is an unusual but positive review. I purchased 2 sizes, small and next size up, which was too big for me (female, 5’3”, small frame), so keeping the small and returning the larger size. I bought the neck brace only to wear while sleeping, thinking it might help hold my lower jaw in place. I have had fairly bad OSA for 10 years and have needed a mandibular fixation device, which is $3500. (couldn’t tolerate CPAP...can’t believe anyone can!) I am so happy to say that this neck brace is 90% effective in helping my jaw stay in position, so that it doesn’t relax and move backwards during sleep. (Securing the lower jaw in place prevents the tongue from occluding the airway.) Week 2 for me but every day I have felt better than I have in years. No more yawning during the day, upper and lower eye bags almost gone, and dreaming has resumed which is an indicator that healthy, restorative sleep is occurring. I hope to do another home sleep study someday to validate my opinion that my OSA is much better or eliminated. A little miracle for me for sure, so I am very satisfied with my Vive neck brace. Wish I had the idea sooner!

Thank you so much, Vive Health, you saved my life. Even after medical treatment for a muscle spasm in my neck, I was in great discomfort and unable to have much range of motion. A friend suggested I get a neck brace, so I did my shopping on Amazon without really knowing what I needed. This seemed to be the right price and easy to wear and use, so I ordered it on Friday and it arrived via Amazon Prime on Sunday. I felt almost immediate relief -- like putting on an ace bandage for a sprained ankle. I wore it as much as I could for a few days, in addition to doing gentle stretching exercises and no longer sleeping on my stomach, and day by day, I am using it less and feeling better. There are no directions on the box or on an insert, but it is basically, "What you see is what you get." Just adjust the velcro in the back to the desired snugness. You'll know what feels best. I am short and small so I got the small size. I chose black because I sure don't want it to show spots and stains as white inevitably will. I have only one question: Why didn't my doctor tell me about this and save me a week of agony?

Had neck cervical surgery and after having to use a "hard" cervicle colar moved to this product. Fits very well and provides the support I need. Good valuer.

Not very comfortable. Edges are too square and don't feel good around the chin. Too firm.

Too short. Velcro too short. Irritates back of neck. Bought before 3 years ago and it fit perfectly, loved it and helped my neck.

I am an adult and female, average height and weight. This 3" neck brace fit me perfectly. Arrived as scheduled. The collar is made well. The foam is just soft enough to be comfortably worn and still with enough support to hold your head in the correct position. Equally important was that it arrived quickly, and I needed that. Wish they had this item in white, but I will keep watch and hopefully it will be available to purchase. Do recommend and I will purchase again.

Had a neck injury advised by my PT I need this asap and went to my local drug store to get what they had boy was that not a good decision. So here is why I like this guy better: - 3 in collar is not huge on a ladies neck other version was so tall made me grind my teeth stiff and hurt - all cervical collars have stiffness to hold your neck up right, this one is "soft" compared to others in the same field. If you try another drug store brand on its just hard foam THEN try this one you'll know the difference way softer by comparison - was about $4-5 less than my local store - has a washable cover - fit my neck contour better, velcro on the back wasn't too long or short - black was easier to keep clean and more discreet to match my wardrobe - with prime one day was delivered quickly no extra charge Glad I went for this guy and not another. Also let me doc review at my latest appt and he also approved of this version way better than the junk at the neighborhood corner store

I suffer from joint pain in various parts my body. I have always felt uncomfortable with having or needing support. However when I been waking up recently my neck has been real painful and causing headaches and blurred vision. I decided to go for a neck support that I could still keep it in during sleep. I suffer from PTSD and insomnia so sleep is always a problem. When sleeping after I put on the neck support it was first time in months I slept for a few hours with no pain. I was amazed I managed to sleep. The design is comfortable. The size is alright if I did not have joint pain in my hands it be easy.to put together but for me it was difficult but I managed it. It great and comfy and I can do things whilst I am wearing it. So it enables you to function without the need to take it off to breath. It was affordable and good value for money. Great little find on Amazon. Thank you for making possible for me to sleep. Great we'll back to sleep I go. If you buy enjoy the break from pain.

The collar is very stiff and uncomfortable. It’s almost like wearing a plastic immobilizer. Though its width is of the correct size, the sponge is so hard. You get a pain in the neck if you wear this for some time. The width was the only reason I went in for this, the others being much wider, but the pain you endure by wearing this is just not worth the buy. Would have returned it if it was returnable.

Quite liked this although having a problem with neck pain it was quite difficult to bend to fit. I think perhaps the foam is a little too thick making it inflexible. Will continue to try and tolerate but would be better being a couple of inches longer making it easier to reach round back of neck. Once on it gives very firm support, certainly could not tolerate sleeping in it.

I have bought the 3inch collar for my husband, because the NHS were unable to provide him with one, for his terminal bone cancer in the C1 vertebrae in his neck due to the COVID Pandemic, thank goodness because this one is so much nicer and more comfortable than the white ones! It’s a lovely fit, looks elegant and won’t show the dirt as fast as a white one would, it’s also firmer which gives much better support for the wearer. We would Highly recommend this for the comfort, it’s on a par length wise with the NHS ones, my husband measures 11 inches round his neck, and three inches deep, but the strap on this comfortably fits inside the other strap, so there’s no irritation from the velcro. It’s just nicer than the white ones ok fam!

Seemingly it's one size to fit 15" to 20.5". I can ensure you that it would only fit a 15" to 17" neck, not any larger. I had put on weight due to health issues and severe neck pain so thought I'd try it because of size stated. Wish I hadn't cause you just can't get the Velcro strip to meet the other side. So, this really is for the smaller neck. Do not buy if you need larger. It is well made and would definitely give you good neck support during the day when needed..But unfortunately not for me cause of the size.
