Schockemoehle Sports Equitus Alpha Anatomic Bridle (for Dressage and Show Jumping)

I have owned this bridle for about a year and a half. At first I was totally in love with it. It was easy to fit (unlike some anatomical bridles), was butter soft, and my horse went well in it. But in the last 6-8 months, when my horse would shake his head (starting in side reins and eventually progressing to under saddle), the bridle would come apart where the bit is attached by the rivets. The first time it happened I thought the bridle had somehow broke. It was terrifying when it began happened under saddle.I thought it might be a one-off manufacturing defect so I contacted the company I purchased it from and requested a replacement. They told me it was known problem and a replacement would probably have the same problem. Amazingly they offered a full refund.While I absolutely love the fit, look, and comfort for my horse, I could not in good conscience recommend this bridle. In its current construction it is downright dangerous.
