Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior

Incredible. Just Incredible...
Where "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" opened my eyes (and quite widely, on many occasions), this sequel hit me deeper than I'd expected it to. I love this book so much, and the journey the story's hero, Dan Millman's avatar of the same name, takes with the wise guide Mama Chia, has been hard to shake. But that's a good thing, I don't want to shake it, and don't think I can. I was sad to finish this book, but happy to know the story goes even deeper with "The Hidden School."

You Can't Go Wrong with Dan MIllman
I may seem biased, but I really do love Dan Millman's books. They're wonderful, quick and easy reads, but at the same time they also convey a powerful message. I recommend his books any days. This is my second favorite book that he has written with my first being Journeys of Socrates. I purchased this book used and it came in remarkable condition, I would have never known it was used if I woudn't have looked under "used BOoks".

Sacred Journey is an excellent read.
Dan Millman relates his story in a way that is interesting, easy to read and follow. Dan takes you on an adventure of his inner spiritual work that is easy to relate to, funny in places, sad in some and curious to know more in others. I enjoyed the book because it entertained me and kept me interested. It also had me thinking about his story and how I could learn more. At the end of the book Dan guides you to further study.

The premise and lessons contained in thos book are very ...
The premise and lessons contained in thos book are very enlightening. However it os a book that requires a certain level of devotion that I am finding hard to muster due to recent events in my own life. When I have the strength to gove the book its pholisophocal due I will get back to it and recoeve the next set of lessons that it offers. It is sometomes hard to take in more than you have capacity for ay certain points on your life. I am at a bit of a stalemate with my understanding of my place in the world so I guess I need to come back and fonosh thos book when I am prepared to assimilate the next lesson. As for now I must sweep out the clutter in my thought processes to make room. At any rate I thank Dan for taking the time to write such enlightening works of self discovery.

Amazing
This is not a self help book. Not explicitly, at least. It is a part of Millman's journey that we can all learn from. And I don't know or care if parts of it are fiction, its the message that matters the most to me. To me, this was a super interesting read, and something I would highly recommend to people who have an interest in spiritual and esoteric subjects.

Journey of inner revelation
As I was deeply fascinated by the first book, Way of the peaceful warrior, Sacred Journey was the obvious next step to take on my own path. Having lived in Hawaii myself, the story touched me in a way even the first book didn't manage to do. I could fully relate with Dan, at times it even felt like I was the protagonist myself. I want to thank the author and that "loving rounded woman" for all the wisdom, teachings and new perspective I gained on this fantastic journey. Mahalo! =)

A continued journey in the life of Socrates, as written by Dan M
I've read all of Dan's books, they are modern, thoughtful, insightful and meaningful if you let them be.However what I used to do was read, ruminate and then forget the lessons.I no longer do that, I am re-reading all of Dan's materials and taking those "Ah hah" bits and implementing them. Those "bits" I speak of will be the times you read and either get skin bumps or feelings of dejavu, those are the moments you stop and write down or record on your phone exactly what you are feeling, trust on that one it's very much the path of change!Thank you to Dan for these great snippets of wisdom!

Good insert to the original book
Enjoyed this stage of the author's development. I revisited this journey after many years when I reconnected with a kindred soul.It was necessary to keep going by myself again while reading this, but these lessons in this story continued and a lot of it seems to be working out just as it must.Very grateful for this author's work and communication of what he has learnt about life. Will definitely read and study more

Beautiful in its simplicity
I've read a lot of what we call spiritual books, and this book sums up a lot of my reading. I've read it twice and will probably read it again in a couple of years. Evolution of the spirit is simple, we can make it complicated but this book and 'Celestine Prophecy' are simple books that contain the essentials.Don't overlook it.
