Excellent Healthy Smoothie Guide
Well, this book came along just at the right time. I just bought one of those great little "Bullet" mixers at Costco; so I'm ready. I am so happy to have this book because my imagination, as far as food goes, is limited. I will simply repeat the same smoothie over and over. This book gives me all kinds of ideas for how to vary what I usually do, and it also tells me why I need to venture into variety. Variety is the spice of life, it is said, and in the case of smoothies, it might be the elixir too. So many vitamins and minerals can be ingested in a delicious drink! This book with its 100 recipes shows me how. I recommend it to anyone looking to improve his or her health.

I like the idea of smoothie because they are natural and refreshing, plus... all the recipes can be easily found at the markets, supermarkets or groceries. Me and my wife were very happy to have this book. This is exactly what were looking for. The recipes are yummy, easy to prepare and very pleasing! We also found out from this book that smoothies are also good as anti aging and energy booster!

Recipes I tried are fine!
I really like the recipes but would be more helpful if there was a breakdown of calories, etc..

NO nutrition info
Worthless to me, as it contains NO nutritional info. So I can't be sure it meets my dietary needs - or fit these recipes into my number-conscious diet - for sodium, sugar, fat, cholesterol, calories, etc. I can't even be sure these ARE low-sodium Dash diet recipes. I missed the return window due to a family emergency, otherwise I would have sent it back.

Great explanation and good recipes
This book has a good explanation of exactly what the DASH(Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet is, what it does, and what foods to avoid. The author then goes on to explain the advantages of smoothies, and gives us 100 delicious smoothie recipes to try. Great detail and instruction for each recipe are included. I really like the Banana Protein spinach recipe. Would recommend to any smoothie lovers.

The website link doesn’t work!
I like the recipes, but the website link provided to the free DASH Diet Hamper doesn’t work. Disappointing.

5 star smoothies!
This book is just great. It has detailed information and the author does a great job explaining what Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension is and more importantly how to avoid it. I love smoothies and this huge collection of smoothie recipes will keep my blender whirling all day long. I definetly recommend this book to anyone interested in DASH diet or delicious smoothies.

Not terribly impressed
I didn't care much for most of the recipes, I wouldn't buy this book if I had it to do over again. I also didn't like the fact that basically all the recipes were for two servings, I don't know many people that make two servings at a time, most people make just one, it would have been better if the smoothies were kept to single servings.
