It would be much better if it fit an onion bigger than the size of a cue ball. I grow big onions and even the small ones wouldn’t fit. If you want to make a blooming onion like you get in a restaurant, this isn’t the product to make those. I couldn’t use it but it’s still a good product.

It works but not the best , I feel like maybe I need to get better at making them or maybe I’m just not doing it right but it does help you cut the onion , the only issue with the tool is your cut lines from one side to the other get mixed easy because they are not perfect in line with each other

It works for like small onions. Anything medium or large will not fit or you can force the medium ones in and it'll never come out. Do wish it had some kind of grippers in it too, cause if the onions is too small it kinda slides around/comes out when you cut it. Haven't use it for anything else, got it to make bloomin' onions.

Don't buy this. It is way too small. Yes, it gives the measurements in the title (not sure it did when I bought it) but when you go to use it you realize just how small of an onion you have to work with. Don't bother using something like this. Turn the onion upside down and start about 1/2 to 3/4" from center of onion and cut straight downward for each section. Just handle the onion carefully.

I was so happy to use this. Opened box ,washed it and used it. Yes it did the job. Love this product. No more ordering out.
