Awesome product

These beads exceeded my expectations. They are perfectly uniform, delightfully fragrant, and the holes are expertly drilled. Unlike another brand I'd been buying, there were no "rejects" that I couldn't use due to cracks or poorly drilled holes. The color is true to the photo. They came as two bracelets, strung on elastic cord with a basic guru bead. They did not fit my wrists as-is, but I didn't expect them to as they were not being sold as finished jewelry. I re-strung them on my own elastic cord and made a bracelet in my desired length to wrap four times around my wrist and I had lots of beads left over, easily could have made it a five or six strand wrap. Would 100% purchase again...and probably will! Thanks for an amazing product!

I purchased the Natural Sandalwood. The ones I received were a bit darker than the photo, but the smell is like old lady perfume or something and it’s quite strong. I’m not sure if this is normal for these beads. I normally purchase green sandalwood, which smells really good. Not sure about these brown ones. Update: the smell is dissipating after just a couple of days outside of the bag. Way better.

I ordered the Prometis 8mm Natural Sandalwood round beads and wow !!!! they are REAL....I gave them many tests and all proved they are indeed real. I used the UV light test and bingo! the color change was amazing! I gave them the alcohol test and again a great result no color fade...the sanding test gave pure sandalwood smell ...not a single chemical odor at all. Another test you can give if you don't have a UV light, take them into the sunlight and in a short time you'll see a color change....mine are the green sandalwood beads, and the UV gave me a beautiful green ....the natural bead is a variation of tans, browns, etc but wow! that green and variations of green showed up almost immediately under the UV light. I am super happy with these beads. I'm speaking of the green sandalwood, and I am going to believe that the others from this seller will also be real. Give your beads the alcohol test, use a q-tip or paper towel and wet in alcohol or nail polish remover and rube vigorously over the bead if color comes off you have a fake, also use the sun if you don't have a UV lamp and see a color change if they're real, if a dyed wood no change will show. when you open the bag smell the beads, it should smell a bit (very light) sweet, tea sort of scent, if not and you smell a hint of chemical or sharp odor it's fake. The hole size is a little small, and a bit rough as any hole in wood would be of course, It's easy to ream the hole a bit ...you don't really need a drill just a bit or any thing that will fit in the hole and smooth it out no problem. The beads have a bit of sheen to them and the color is a bit different from bead to bead not a great change but enough to realize it is from a piece of wood not a pressed block with uniform color. I plan to use wire in each bead to hook together to make a chain of beads. If you're using string, or any other soft cords you may want to stiffen the end a little to assist in threading through the bead. they aren't coated, just buffed....I don't plan to coat mine as I want them to wear naturally and retain any patina from aging or use of the beads. Sandalwood has a great history, if you're interested in that kind of information, I like to know all I can about the wood I'm using in my products. The sandalwood tree is very interesting in its growth and how it is now guarded in the harvesting of its wood. The beads are all uniform in size and I haven't found any flaws such as chips or cracks. Hope you have found this review helpful in deciding whether or not to trust the beads to be real. This seller makes a clear offer that if you aren't happy with your purchase they will make it right. I took a chance because of this offer, and as it turned out there are no problems. As with any natural wood product don't mishandle it like getting it excessively wet or store it in a damp place etc. unfinished wood surfaces can swell when exposed to lots of moisture. I am very happy with this purchase and will use this vendor when I order more.

The beads are beautiful, and it has a really nice essence, but the hole is too small; a regular 1mm thread doesn't pass through.

Ich war von der Qualität und Verarbeitung der Perlen extrem positiv überrascht. Außerdem wurden sie nicht einfach lose oder auf Schnüren geliefert sondern waren zu zwei Mala Ketten à 108 Perlen plus einer Abschlussperle sehr schön auf einem elastischen Gummiband (Hutgummi) aufgezogen, welches an den beiden Enden, nach der Abschlussperle (3-löchrig) sogar mit einem hübschen Knoten in Form einer Blüte versehen wurde. Also erhält man deutlich mehr, als in der Produktbeschreibung angegeben wird. Das gibt es auch nicht oft! Vielen herzlichen Dank für die sorgsame "Aufbereitung". Das einzige, was mich persönlich stört, aber ich bin damit auch extrem empfindlich, ist der starke Geruch und die leicht klebrige Oberfläche der Perlen. Ich hatte gehofft, dass sie wirklich unbehandelt sind. Vielleicht sind sie es ja auch, aber mir kommt es so vor, als wäre irgend eine Art Öl verwendet worden, da Holz normalerweise, wie ich es kenne, ganz glatt ist, ohne sich feucht oder klebrig anzufühlen. Klebrig ist hier etwas übertrieben aber wer frisch geöltes Holz kennt, bei dem das Öl nicht ganz eingezogen ist, weiß, was ich meine. Nach einiger Zeit wird der Ölüberschuss auf dem Holz fühlbar und egal, was man macht, man bekommt ihn schlecht ab. Ich habe die Perlen mehrmals mit einem Pflegetuch abgerieben aber bisher geruchstechnisch sowohl sensorisch ohne Erfolg. Der Geruch ist möglicherweise auch für andere Allergiker, wie mich, die sehr geruchsempfindlich sind, störend. Ich kann die Ketten jedenfalls nicht um den Hals tragen. Trotzdem kann ich die Perlen und die schöne Aufmachung, in der sie kommen wärmstens weiter empfehlen, denn wer nicht geruchsempfindlich ist und keinen großen Wert darauf legt dass etwas biologisch oder anderweitig unschädlich behandelt ist, dem machen sie bestimmt uneingeschränkt Freude. Sie stinken auch nicht, es ist kein schlechter Geruch, deshalb bin ich sicher, dass es vielen Kunden überhaupt nichts ausmachen wird oder sie es sogar gut finden und sie sehen auch wirklich sehr schön aus und sind angenehm glatt geschliffen. In der Benutzung finde ich das Gummiband angenehmer als fest aufgezogene Perlen mit Knoten zwischen jeder Perle, deshalb werde ich sie nicht neu aufziehen, wie ich es ursprünglich geplant hatte. Wer sie neu aufziehen möchte sollte beachten, dass die Löcher sehr sehr fein sind und es möglicherweise ohne eine sehr feine spezielle Perlennadel oder eine sehr feine, leicht steife Perlonschnur nicht gelingen wird.
