Love Ma Bogs
I ordered a size down from my half size and the fit is great. The front of my foot has plenty of room and my heel is not floating around in empty space which makes them good for moving. Plenty of room for big socks. And the snug material at the top of the boot keeps your legs and feet warm and dry. No drips.I took a 7 mile walk on wet snowy day in Manhattan, going right through lots of puddles with I don't wanna know what was in them, and felt perfectly warm and dry. And Clean. I've worn them on the beach along the shore and in our flooded basement. Riding is next on my list. So for me they are great for walks. I did buy small insole support things (not a big blue gel filled one) and walking and working in them in foul weather or wet conditions is even more comfortable. They are rated as warm for -40F on this page (which is just, no) and they are rated for -20F on the bog site. That sounds about right. I would rate them for -10 or 0F for -all day outside- and wear Arctic Muck boots for anything colder. These are pretty, feminine boots that I think will work hard enough and hold up well for years to come. I'm not one for shiny boots or embossed patterns but it's subtle enough not to offend my sensibilities or sense of style. They do look better on than in the picture. I would buy them in another color if or when they're available.

Exactly what I needed!
I had been looking at different snow/rain muck boots for a while. I decided on the bogs because I had heard great things about them from friends and All the reviews all seemed good. I'm so happy I did! I live in NY and I need something I could wear running around town. They keep my feet warm and dry! I decided not to go with a full blown snow boot because I thought I'd get more wear out of something like the bogs rider. It's much more then a rain boot though. It keeps my feet warm even in the snow. I am a size 9.5 and I went back and forth on ordering a 9 or 10. After reading the reviews I decided on a 10. They fit fine and I will be keeping them but I definitely could have gone down to a 9 and still had room for thick socks. So if your a half size I would think about going down. Also a lot of people complained about the shaft of the boot being too small so I was pretty worried about this. I do have larger calves and I recently had to return two different sets of boots because of this but these fit nicely. I already wear skinny jeans so I didn't really have to tuck my jeans in. They are a little snug but comfortable. It could be a problem for people with larger calves who don't wear skinny jeans or leggings. Oh and also I got these boots on sale for $51 at amazon!! Can not beat that price! Everywhere else they run around $130 so that's a huge savings on something I would have still spent full price on!

Awesome boot! **Advise for anyone with athletic/larger Calves**
Overall these boots are awesome!! I searched everywhere for a good honest review before buying and couldn't SOO I'm making it for all of you ladies with larger/athletic calves like me. I 99% of the time a true 9. I ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly. My calves however measure 16" and these boots are labeled a 15" so I knew going into it they'd be a tight fit. However, that being said the shaft is neoprene and while they're tight I can get them on and they've stretched a little since wearing them around the house today. I plan on soaking them in warm water and putting a boot calf stretcher in them overnight. I think after that they'll be perfect. I'm an avid rider and needed these for barn chores and riding. Since I am in Colorado I wanted a tall, cute, muck boot that I could wear anywhere and keep my feet warm while riding. I am happy to say that I have found it. If you're calves measure anything larger than 16" go with another boot though as these will be way too tight and you won't be comfortable. Anything smaller and you should be good to go.Also side note: I was wearing a very thin legging (not jeans) with these and they fit inside the boot.

Love these boots!
These are SUPER warm in the winter; I wear with tights &/or socks. 100% waterproof. Great for snow or a cool rain (but rather too warm in warmer weather). Perfect winter boot!SIZE: These don't come in half-sizes, & these do run slightly larger than regular shoes. I'm usually a 7 - 7 1/2, & so I bought the size 8, which was way too big, & i had to return it for a size 7. The size 7 fits good though. It still has a little extra breathing room, but when I wear socks with the boots they fit just right- no slipping, but still have ample wiggle room. Very comfortable- I could walk all day in them! So... If you're a half-size, I'd order down. The calf of the boot is narrow, so if you have large calf muscles, it would be good to measure your calves just to be sure they'll fit. That being said, it does have a little stretch. I have thin calves, so this was not a problem for me.APPEARANCE: Looks good to me! I got the black ones. I didn't want anything too fancy, because I was more concerned with warm & dry feet. The textured paisley pattern & rivets is really nice though. Dresses them up a bit. Suitable for work, play, or even with a dress! I wear with skirts or jeans. Jeans would have to be either boot cut (to go over) or skinny/tapered leg jeans (to go inside).Highly recommend! Great investment! I would definitely buy again, or anything from Boggs, for that matter.
