Love this beautifully scented facial cleanser which comes in a glass bottle so also looks great. It is slightly milky in consistency, feels amazing on my skin and smells like I am at a Spa..

I used Alteya flower waters for a long time partly because they're in glass bottles so I was disapointed that this is in a plastic bottle. Otherwise it's a very nice cleanser that turns milky when you mix it with water. After applying I have rinsed with water followed with the toner that goes with it. My skin feels very clean and is looking nice so I'm very happy with it. The lost star is for a short best before date (the toner had more than a year on it) and the plastic.

The packaging of this product is beautiful, feels very well made and luxurious, it has a thick glass bottle and easy to use pump, the only issue with the glass bottle is that if your hands are wet it is a bit difficult to pump product out as it feels like it may slip out, I usually rest the bottom against my stomach and then use the pump. The face wash has that stringy glue like consistency that has been popular lately, it feels thick and you only need 1-2 pumps per use, it produces subtle foam while giving a deep cleanse that does not leave the skin feeling stripped and squeaky. The scent is quite strong though so may not be suitable for fragrance sensitive persons, it has an authentic rose scent but smells more like dried than fresh roses to me or rose oil/essence. My skin loves this cleanser, it really brightens my complexion and calms down inflammation, I have noticed inflammatory redness fading faster than when I use other cleansers or scrubs, leaves my face feeling fresh and plump.

It is my first time testing Alteya Cosmetics facial products, and I have a good opinion. I ordered the rose foaming cleanser because my mature skin loves roses—the most impressive results in terms of toning I had with pure distilled rose water. Hence, I was eager to try the cleanser from Alteya. The cleanser smells divine of rose, naturally; however, it incorporates ylang-ylang and sandalwood, which add a deep earthiness. Furthermore, all botanical ingredients are organic and naturally sourced, which I prefer and embrace. I applied two pumps of cleanser to dry skin, delicately massaged it and using a wet silicone electric brush, the cleanser started foaming. I rinsed my face well and dried it before toning it. Compared to my other organic creamy facial cleanser, the Alteya product did leave my skin slightly dryer, necessitating a more heavy-based moisturiser or oil. My skin was left feeling clean but in need of moisture. As a general rule, I decided to use Alteya Rose on the days I wear makeup to ensure perfect cleansing. For daily cleansing, I will continue with more delicate solutions.

It has a very nice and pleasant scent thanks to rose oil. It soothes and moisturizes the skin. I think it seems to be compatible with all types of skin, not just dry and sensitive skin. I was satisfied during my use. I'm just not sure about the price. It seemed a little expensive.

Not sure this is really worth the money tbh, i have no reactions to it, but not sure I would buy again.

Good product but not a nice scent at all.It actually puts me off to use it again.I've used it just once.Is it possible to get a refund please?

The instructions do not specify properly how to use this cleanser. They simply say to apply to skin and then rinse off. But when I put it on dry skin as I normally would with a milk cleanser, I found I used far too much and then rinsing it off was a bit of an ordeal because it went really foamy. This is a foaming cleanser and should be treated as such. I normally use a milk or oil-based cleanser that you then add a little bit of water to emulsify. So my cleansers are normally very gentle and hydrating. In comparison this one did leave my skin a bit tight and dry, especially when I used so much more than I needed to. It may be that this cleanser is better suited to people with oily skin or who wear a lot of makeup. For me, although all the ingredients are organic, it did feel a bit too harsh. I will keep it in the shower and use it a few more times, because most of my cleansers are not suitable for use in the shower. Overall though I don't think this does my skin any favours.

This cleanser comes with a pump which makes it easy to use. It has a light herbal scent (does not smell like roses) and has the consistency of a milk. It does not lather but leaves my skin feeling clean without being dry.

This cleanser has a strong starfruit type of smell, its not a bad smell but just off putting when using it first thing in the morning. It cleanses my skin and doesn't leave it feeling tight as most cleansers often do.
