I bought these to mount the rear speakers for my surround system. They mounted easily and are strong enough to hold the speakers which weigh about 2 - 3 pounds. I was able to mount them close to the ceiling above the plant shelf and aim them down into the room. For the price you can't beat these mounts. Easy to install and work as described. I would gladly buy these again if the need were to ever arise.

I am using these for BIC America Adatto DV52siW 2-Way 5.25-Inch Indoor/Outdoor Speakers. The are shielded and outdoor and just seem to be too heavy, they could not hold the speakers up so I ended up screwing a screw between the joint to keep them where I wanted. But once there were dialed in, they worked great.

I purchased these mounts for the side and back speakers of a 7.1 home theater setup. I got them at the same time as my Polk Audio RM6751 Satellite Speakers, so I did not know what to expect. The mounts are really easy to install. The base is attached to the ceiling or wall using two screws. I used drywall screws to secure my mounts and they're holding perfectly. A number of adjustment screws in the mounts allows you to rotate and bend the mount to suit your specific needs. In my case, I'm using the rotation and bend to aim the speakers towards the center of the room, where surround is meant to converge. The mounts come with various attachments to use for different types of speakers and it even included an allen wrench to use for adjustment of the screws. This came in handy, as the allen wrench is easier when you're on top of a ladder. All considered, it took me about 5 minutes to install and aim each mount. After a couple of months of continuous use, the mounts are holding find. I'm very satisfied with them and would definitely recommend them for similar applications.

very sturdy mounts cost much less than at retail store such as bestbuy. Hope I bought the other pairs (very same mounts) at Amazon rather than at bestbuy couple yrs back. Easy to mounts. I thought I needed to use an electrical driller but I didn't need to (happened to have wood studs where I needed to mount them). I mounted satellite speakers on them. I will not mount big/heavy speakers (such as book shelf speakers) on them. I didn't weigh my satellite speakers but I guess-timate they weigh about 5-7 pounds each.

When installing the speakers, the piece connecting the speaker to the mount broke with very little pressure. It's a small easily replaceable piece. I asked amazon if I could get a replacement, but they are insisting that I return both speaker mounts. Obviously that is a complaint about the amazon customer service, but the mounts should be made more sturdy that to break off with very little pressure. I'm glad they broke when they did instead of when I wasn't there to catch the speaker. The mount that didn't break, works well, though it was more difficult than is should have been to identify how to mount the speakers. Regardless I made it work. The working mount looks good and works well. Without the broken piece, I would give it 4 stars.

Bought for a customer that had a cheap set of speakers that didn't weigh very much. These are very adaptable to almost all small speakers so I would order them again. They are only good for small speakers due to the fact they are made of plastic and the screws that tighten up the angles can easily strip out. One did in my case and I was able to get larger bolts with nuts to correct the problem. Once again I do want to say I would buy these again. They do the job at a low cost and look good doing it.

I purchased these for my dad, who was looking to mount some Sony 5.1 rear satellite speakers to the walls. I have seen them and they look like quality products and are doing their job, holding the speakers where he wants them.
