Not perfect but good enough
This is my first garlic press so obviously my garlic game is going a lot better than it was before I bought this press. It's definitely sturdy for the price (though I haven't had it for too long) but there are some usability issues. Mainly that the area to put the garlic clove in is quite small. You can cram it in there but a big clove will have to be cut in half. Another issue is the long strands of garlic pulp that get through between the wall of the chamber and the press itself. I usually just toss these in the cooking because I'm lazy but it's definitely not minced enough. The last issue is that a good amount of the garlic also gets stuck in the holes. I don't mind scraping off the garlic after pushing the press but so much of it stays on.It seems kind of asinine to point out flaws of an $8 product that saves me a lot of time but hey, I needed to say it!

My wife loves it
This garlic presser works as advertised. It is hefty, and I cannot imagine it breaking. It is of a very good quality. The pressing head of the mechanism, presses through the receiving head so that the garlic completely crushes and pushes through. It also makes it easy to clean as there is almost no garlic in the receiving head. The skin of the garlic is all that is left in the machine. This is easily removed by hand. Works like a champ and my wife who used it thinks I am a genius for buying it.

Best decision!
As a frequent cook who looooooves using garlic in literally everything, purchasing this has been the best decision I could have made for myself. I used to hate trying to chop up fresh garlic cloves with a knife so sometimes I would skip cooking with cloves all together. Now it's just a simple peel and squeeze with easy cleanup afterwards. Love my garlic press.

Good but can be improved upon
Definetly minces garlic. But you end up having to pull out the even thinner peel you realize the garlic has outside of the usual thicker peel.Have to use a special brush to clean.the pressing plate has to be aligned each time to use the item right.does the job but cumbersome design.

Does what it suppose it do
Have to make sure garlic is placed in correctly and the press is lined up with the part where you put in the garlic.

Works good
Easy to use as long as you are not in a rush. Will possibly have to wipe the mush off to get it in your bowl I do at times. It can be a pain to clean at times if you have skin still on the clove when you squish it.

Full Court Press
Works as advertised but a bit problematic to clean it is also important to line up the two parts beforeattempting to squeeze the handles. It's nice to be able to use up the smaller bits of garlic that are toosmall to easily be cut up. A solid four stars!

Works Well
It doesn't have as much leverage as my old one... Would be better if the handles were longer...But it works well... You have to squeeze handles hard for it to work...

easier to clean than i thought
saves time! takes a bit of pressure though so if you’re getting this as you’re not able to chop garlic take that into consideration. it feels slightly flimsy but has lasted months so far

Best design garlic press
We’ve been through many garlic presses and this type is the best design, with the two pivoted parts. I was interested to see this one specified as a “ginger crusher” too as trying to press a small lump of ginger is how I broke the previous one. However, this one seems to be manufactured from better steel and at the price, I can’t go too wrong (providing I don’t press any more ginger).

Handles a little short.
Works well enough but handle is small for any bloke with reasonable sized hands.
