Can you see out through this (thinking Putting on the side of our front door but would still like to see who’s at the door)?

You can see through the clear crosshatch design. The lines are thin and since I used mine on a glass bookcase door, I can’t say for sure that they give enough open space to see someone on the porch in their entirety. You’d definitely see their shadow.

Can people see my hunky profile from outside at night if I install this on a bathroom window?

Not very clearly. The transparent portions are very small areas. We had a see through - front to back- vesta before we put on front door window. Works a treat. Suffuses light but not images.

Are the measurements L by W?

In my experience, the first number is the width of the roll and the second is the length of the roll. So, a 23x72 roll would be 23” wide and 72” long. Or, depending on the pattern, you can turn it sideways and it becomes 23” high and 72” wide.
