For the price, this outfit can’t be beat. We needed something for “career day” for TK and my little girl wanted to be an astronaut — thank god for Amazon and quick shipping! Based on the description of the product and comments about sizing, I ordered the XXL (recommended for 6Y, my daughter wears 6/6X clothes and is very tall for her age). However, it was EXTREMELY large for her — she was swimming in it. Because of the free returns and quick shipping I was able to order the L and XL with enough time, and my daughter actually fit the L best. As you can see from the image, there was still room in it but is wasn’t like a potato sack anymore. There isn’t much stretch to the fabric, but that wasn’t an issue because of the fit/style. My daughter was so happy and excited about this costume and her younger sister was jealous because she now wants her own. With the price, I may just have to get her one, too! I’m removing one star because of the sizing issues/confusion, but overall we are very happy with this purchase.

We liked this, it was exactly what my 7 year old wanted for dress up. However, I read the reviews and took the suggestions and ordered a size up from what I would normally order. It was still too small.I would typically order him a medium in kids clothing. Reviews said order up, I ordered a large. It was way too short. Being a one piece caused issues. So we returned and ordered this one sized XL. We could barely tell a difference in the size.It’s really unfortunate because it is cute.He still loves it but doesn’t wear it as much because I can imagine it’s a little uncomfortable.It’s not very thick, you’d want to wear something under it if wearing it out of the house or trick or treating. The white is slightly see-thru. But we wouldn’t want it any thicker for play.The material is cotton like but there really isn’t any stretch.But the return policy with Prime was great and very simple.

This costume was a big hit! My 3 year old loved it! He wore it for Halloween and now wears it for playtime. The costume was made nicely, great quality for the price, fit as expected. I thought the helmet was silly but it was my sons favorite part! It is thin so we had to wear fleece pajamas underneath to stay warm but that was no problem, plenty of room underneath. The only negative thing I could think of would be the gloves, they are a little off in shape. Fingers were too short, and no stretch to get a good fit. Overall I would recommend this costume!

For the money, it’s a fun idea for a costume. I read a lot of reviews that said this costume ran really small, so I ordered a size up which ended up being a mistake. It is HUGE. Way too big, and the arms and legs are way too long, helmet is humongous. Also, the gloves are hilariously unusable as every single one of the fingers is a very different width and length, and there’s basically just a little nub for the thumb. Overall it’s a good dress up costume for play but it’s going to take years to grow into

The gloves are really really really off! I saw bad in the other reviews but I think the ones we got may be the worst! We joked they are not made for a human hand.Other than that it look like a nice costume and I ended up getting an XL for my tall almost 8 yr old and it fits with some room to spare.

material seems a little thin almost see thru. runs smaller than expected. my kids normally wear XL but this was unable to get on with just underwear. would have been a little cold but would have used better than sending back. i advise atleast 1 or 2 sizes bigger if considering any clothing underneath

Purchased costume for a presentation my boy had at school. Size runs extremely small. Ordered an XXL for my 9 year old and it fit like a small. The suit gave him a wedgie and length fit like capris. Quality seemed good, sizing is just off. May want to keep that in mind when purchasing.
