ACANA Grain Free Dry Dog Food Puppy Recipe 4.5lb Bag

This dog food is fantastic! My dog finishes every meal, her fur is incredibly soft and shiny, and she digests it really well with no issues like diarrhea. The smell is a bit strong for humans (it does have a fishy scent) but overall it’s definitely worth the price for the quality. I have a mini dachshund.

As a breeder, I find my puppies always have solid poops and love the food!

My dog loves Acana food! The morsels are perfect puppy size and must taste good because my picky eater devours it! It is a big pricey compared to other brands but worth it. No digestion issues or stinky breath!

I think I should let you know from the start that our Maisey is VERY food motivated. She will eat ANYTHING. The catch is, we don't let her eat just anything. We believe that pets should be fed high quality ingredients. My hope is that a good diet will equal good health. This Acana has 65% animal ingredients. Maisey thinks she's royalty, being fed ingredients like wild caught salmon! We had no issues transitioning from her old food. There kibbles are all uniform and easy for her to chomp down. Due to her speed eating, we break down her feedings into three a day rather than twice. She is shiny, shiny with no flaking in her coat. Her poos have been nice and solid, likely due to the fiber content from the whole fruits and grains. Another good thing to note is that this is a high protein food with no poultry and no peas! We try to avoid peas as a protein because it is a cheap way for companies to add protein. Thank you #hometesterclub for the opportunity to try this out.

I bought this brand of dog food because i was told my puppy, I got, was on this prior to coming to my home. My puppy would not eat it. I tried for 3 weeks to get her to eat it. She would not. I contacted the seller for a refund. They refused. In the past I have went to a big chain pet store and have bought dog food from them. They have a return policy that let's you return food if your dog does not eat it. I am going to return to buying food there or look on Amazon for another seller that will allow refunds. Amazon customer service was very understanding and really tried to get me my refund but their hands were tied because this dog food is sold and delivered by a 3rd party company.

My pup loves this food! I have a Shih Tzu and she had brown tear stains from other food. After being on the Acana for a while I noticed an improvement in the staining on her face.
