Q: Are the yarn compartments big enough for 100g balls?

main compartment is large enough for 100g balls, also the outer compartment with clear panel

Q: Does this come with the hooks?

Nothing in the bag is included. And it isn’t as big as it looks. I was a little disappointed with the size for the price. But I kept it as it served its purpose.

Q: Would this suit other crafts? I looking for something to keep my journaling book I'm making, along with the laces, embellishments etc in ..

A fantastic Bag with lots of pockets and zip compartments also metal rings in one of the pockets to put wool/lace string in securely and work from the hole. Only one thing I have against it. You cannot wash it but I would buy it again excellent value, super bag for crafts. I use mine for quilting; knitting and crocheting
