Beautiful Collection Semi-Permanent Hair Color | Zero Damage for All Hair Textures

Keep in mind it only lasts thru one shampoo. I got it after I had shingles in my head. I didn’t want chemicals. It does not cover grey roots very well but until I can get hair color again, it was a great fix.

I rarely write reviews and have not been incentivized to write this one in any way. I received the B01N Light Natural Blond today and used it for the first time. I am 52 with dark blond, fine hair I’ve been highlighting/coloring for decades - from the $400+ salon foils to the drug store box, everything in-between and then some. Chemical processing has taken its toll for sure. I lighten in the sun naturally and can get away with a lot but the gray has been increasing and I had let it grow out quite a bit as I have been suffering from the damage of the harsh chemicals more and more and literally was at an impasse of just letting myself go natural gray for the preservation of hair health. My hair is several inches below my chin and close to bra strap in the back - but it wouldn’t have been for much longer. Where has this been all my life!?! It’s sublime. I will never go back. This is what you’ve been waiting for. I SO WISH I had taken before pics. THIS IS IT. It’s like a color-depositing thing. I’m not a hair-dresser. But no ammonia or peroxide? No damage? It just DEPOSITS color. People of our hair sitch/quality have been being ripped off and sold a bill of goods!! We don’t need it!! Just use this! I didn’t even do all the things because I was in a rush. I washed my hair in the shower and put less than half the bottle in, tied my hair up, then did everything else so it was in my hair for 25 minutes, then rinsed. I will NEVER bleach, dye, highlight, use another drug store box again. There is no need. I don’t know why this is some secret. It’s FABULOUS! There’s NO NEED to damage your hair!! Tell your friends. Tell your mothers. Tell your daughters. COLOR-DEPOSITING is where it’s at!! There’s no need to destroy our hair when we can just add some color to the gray and the rest of the color is lovely! Yes - it’s a little messy and different from what we’re used to. Just do it on the day you’re gonna do EVERYTHING (shave everything, slough your feet, exfoliate your entire bod, brush your teeth, clean your shower, ETC.!) Or put it in and get out for half an hour then go back in and rinse it out. THIS IS IT! It’s a no-brainer. The girls at the salons are too young - they’re all focused on all these processes and chemicals and have no idea the number they do on older hair. Do yourself a favor and up-level to COLOR-DEPOSITING! That’s all us mature gals need! They’ve been lying to us. DO THIS!!

I hope other people have better success with this product. I followed the instructions exactly and my hair was clean with no styling products in it. This had absolutely zero effect on my hair. I used the blonde shade. It's strange that they only have one blonde shade, so I think that they should probably add more shades of blonde. I used the only shade of blonde that they offer which is called light blonde, and it had absolutely zero effect on my white hairs. It didn't make any difference regarding the way my hair felt or the shininess of my hair. The description claims that it moisturizes your hair and adds shine. I did not experience either of those effects. So I unfortunately wasted time and money on this product that sadly has no effect. Box dyes that you would buy at places like Walgreens and CVS are much better. As a matter of fact, the box dye that I had previously been using was a Clairol product, so I generally like and respect the Clairol company and that makes me especially disappointed that a company that is otherwise reputable is selling an ineffective product. I thought this was going to be a healthier alternative to box dye, however, there's no point in using a product that has zero effect. I hate leaving negative reviews and I only do so when the product is not at all what is described, such as what happened in this situation. So I had to be honest. Luckily I don't have any special occasions or anything coming up, but I would be really sad for somebody if they were counting on getting their their grays covered before something special, like a graduation or a wedding or their kids, prom or something like that.

I love this stuff! Here are my before and after pictures. I use the color Light Natural Blonde. I started using this product 6 months ago when my box color suddenly started burning my scalp. After a few months of only using this product I started having hair regrowth. I’m guessing the box color was damaging my hair. 3 days ago, I decided to go in for my first professional coloring in 5 years. The salon color did NOT even touch my roots. I’ve been in a panic since then. I washed my hair today, applied a this product and waited 25 minutes. It worked great! I couldn’t get happier!

I have used Clairol Soyplex permanent hair color (since Covid). Trying to give my hair a break from permanent hair dye and selected this semi-permanent Clairol product with efforts aimed towards covering the (largely) grey roots. I found that this did provide some overall color and did lessen the look of grey on my roots. However, it is definitely not comparable to a permanent hair color product. It could not be easier to apply (no developer needed). However, I found that my hair felt like it had some residue on it. So as a "fill-in" while you wait to use permanent hair color I would agree this product has some value; but I would not personally use it again.

I used the blond color. My hair was pretty right after I used the product. I rinsed with cool water and didn’t shampoo after rinsing since I shampooed before coloring. I knew it was a temporary color but expected it to last more than a couple washes. Once I washed my hair the first time, I could tell a big difference in the color. By the second wash, I couldn’t tell that I had used it. It would be okay if you needed a quick, temporary fix and didn’t want any damage to your hair. I gave it 4 stars because it’s not a bad product. Just know that it is a quick, temporary fix, temporary meaning about 2 washes. It was pretty, just don’t expect it to fade over a period of 4 to 6 weeks. Know this: I used a blonde color on already blonde and gray hair. The darker colors would probably last a lot longer.

This is a total game changer. I think another reviewer said this and I 100% agree! I haven’t written a review in years, but had to for this one. I’m 52, been going grey since I was 16. I went with it for a while, then a loved one, pointed out, my white hair was making me look older, then I am. I’m a licensed cosmetologist and I started dying my hair consistently for the last year, taking every precaution to protect my hair while doing so. When my hair started falling out in clumps in the shower, I thought it was menopause. I went to my doctor and got on estrogen. It was still falling out and looked terrible. I realized it was the color breaking my hair off. Worst of all the color never held (blondes and reds wash out faster than other colors). I was a natural blonde growing up. I needed something to deposit color, without damaging it. I tried the shampoo colors and my hair still fell out… I was SO desperate and willing to try anything. I ordered this on a whim, it’s was around $8- what could it hurt?! OMG!!! My hair is beautiful- shiny-soft and absolutely NO hair loss. I subscribed immediately. I haven’t been this excited about my hair in years!!! Included before and after photos. The color looks much richer in person. I took 2 afters in different light so you can see the shine. You can also see the old breakage and damage that’s stating to grow out. Yay!!!!🥳😆👊

1N light natural blonde works! Blends grey hair beautifully with blonde highlights. In the past I used permanent color with peroxide and it made my scalp bright pink and irritated. This Clairol semi-permanent color is gentle on scalp and hair. I used half a bottle, rinsed with cool water and dried hair with cool hair dryer setting. Although it does not completely cover grey hair it leaves hair soft, shiny and gives beautiful highlights.

I've used a few different shades and the light natural blonde is my favourite. If you're looking for grey coverage use the version in the grey bottle, this one isn't really meant for grey hair. Additionally, sticking with a neutral shade (i.e. anything with N in the colour name) is much better for grey coverage. 6N Toasted Hazelnut (grey bottle) is also a nice colour to consider and is my second favourite, it's a light (level 6) neutral brown shade.

Champagne colour was much darker and warmer than expected. The coverage was much better than expected and the smell was the least offensive hair colour I've ever used. I feel it was quite drying on my hair but that may be due to not enough conditioner.
