SureFit Home Décor Soft Suede Futon Slipcover, Polyester, Machine Washable, One Piece, Taupe Color

This is a fantastic futon cover and I am so happy with my purchase. I'm always a bit skeptical when it comes to online shopping and reviews, and I'm never quite sure who to trust. Trust me when I say this is a great buy. I bought the taupe cover for my 6" futon mattress. When it arrived it was nicely packaged and gave instructions for putting it on. I was able to quite easily put on the cover by myself. You only have to lift half the mattress at a time since the zipper for the cover is in the middle of the back. The zipper was not nearly as heavy-duty as I had thought and I could potentially see it ripping if you tried to over stuff the cover, but it seemed sturdy enough for every-day use.The material is very soft and true to the color from the photos online. My flatmate has dogs who occasionally hop on the futon and you aren't able to see the hair at all, and it brushes off quite easily. The cover is a slender fit with some room for movement, but it is by no means baggy or loose. I will happily recommend this cover to all my friends.

I have this Futon that I bought back in like 1993 that has followed me through several moves, has been my bed, apartment living room couch, guest bed in our first home, and is now a basement back up bed but mostly sofa. We recently semi finished our basement and the old thick cover was still in great shape, but it was a patterned cover, so we decided we wanted this staple to blend a bit better… so off to Amazon I go and lucky find. The mattress is a bit thicker at about 6 1/2 inches thick and the overall length is about 6 feet. The zipper is on the back side in the middle where the mattress bends, so I had to taco that mattress up to get the thing on myself with only one unreturned panic holler to my teenager. It is a good looking suede brown and it will not stand out too much from the brown leather chairs going down near it. It is thinner than the original woven cover I have on it but I just put this cover on right over the top of the other one. I think this is gonna work great.

Although the material is a bit lightweight I would recommend this cover to people without kids or dogs. The fit is loose out of the bag, it should shrink to a perfect fit after washing, and the velour is soft and attractive. It's a good cover when compared to similar products costing twice as much.

My in-laws gave us their futon when they moved, and we are using it in as a guest bed in a home office. They had an ugly salmon pink cover which was so hard to get on and off to wash. This one is a nice, soft lightly suede beige that was so easy to put on. I was able to put it on the futon by myself in less than five minutes. It's a little loose (I haven't washed it, so I'm hoping it pulls up a little in the wash), but it still looks great! And for the price, I'd definitely buy again. It's not a piece of furniture that gets used often, so although the fabric is quite a bit thinner than the cover I took off, I still think it will hold up well to the wear it will get. Added bonus - the zipper is in the middle back. Our other cover, it went around the middle of the top, and where it fit so tightly after being washed, the cover of the zipper would stick up making it look sloppy. You don't even see the zipper area after it's put on.

This cover fits perfectly, was really easy to put on the futon mattress, and is a nice shade of taupe, almost a sand color. It zips in the back and encases the whole mattress. I washed it and it didn’t shrink in the dryer at all. It’s thin but not at all see through, but it’s much less bulky than other covers I’ve used. I recommend it, and it’s a great price too.

We already have a SureFit suede slipcover on our couch and love seat and they fit perfectly. So perfect our friends thought we bought new furniture. I decided to go with SureFit again for a used futon we bought. The futon slipcover does not fit the same at ALL. It's so big I could probably stuff another mattress in there. But it is super soft and really nice quality so I just tucked all the extra fabric away so you can't see it and it looks fine. The good thing is, it's just meant to go in our spare bedroom for overnight guests so it didn't need to look super nice anyway. For the price and quality of SureFit I'd say it's a good buy but if you're expecting it to fit perfectly then you might want to look at another product.

I don't know much about the sizing of futon mattresses, but I had what I consider a fairly hefty tri-fold futon mattress to cover. The thing takes two adults to life and appears to be nearly a foot deep. This cover very effortlessly covered the whole thing and looks incredibly slick. It never felt like it was stretched or stressed while putting it on, and the material is exactly what I was looking for. The suede is soft to the touch and extremely comfortable and cozy. I'd say unless you have some oddball futon, this will do the trick. Even with my awkward trifold style futon, this thing worked like a champ. Oh and most importantly the price is right! You'd be hard pressed to find something of this quality any cheaper.

Loved the design & quality of this cover! In fact, I preferred the look of where the opening is on this one to the one I ultimately kept and put on my futon. The reason I kept that one over this one is that the color of this one was just enough off to be distracting from the design in the room and the color of the other one was perfect. In this case, the aesthetic won over the superior quality of the SureFit Home Décor Soft Suede and Sherpa Futon Slipcover. I didn't keep it so I cannot speak to the durability. However, I suspect given the quality that it would be even more durable than the one I ultimately kept. ***** PROS ***** + quality of the materials and the sewing/ assembly + rich color and feel of the fabric + value - good price for the quality of the cover [ roughly $65 with tax & delivery ] which would be true at twice the price everywhere else I shopped ***** CONS ***** - A pain in the butt to put on the futon mattress and will require 2 people to do it NOTE: The finished fit is worth the fighting of the mattress to fit in there. But you will use bad language the entire time you are fighting to get it in there. However, when you are done it will give a quality look to your space.

I was a little skeptical due to fit and trying to get it on, reading some of the other reviews but easy to put on my futon mattress however it is a fit for a 8" mattress, as noted. Mine is only 4 but took the chance as good price but yes too big. I ended up purchasing a 4" topper and it worked! Looks good and much more comfy. If you have pets tho, have a lint brush handy as it does attract hair. Overall I'm happy with it!

Only had it a few days. Like it so far

The colour is much lighter than it appears in the picture and the texture is flat and not plush. It is great to keep the mattress protected however.
