Simple installation of 3 control kits
I purchased three of these for my three bedrooms that only have the single light switch with each room having a Hunter Antero 46 in. LED Indoor Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan. I needed to use the fan pull chain to control the speed of the fan and the light pull chain to turn off the light at night to keep the fan still on. Not a huge issue, yet I was looking for a simple remote for when guest visit. This product has worked flawlessly on one fan for over a month now. I was hesitant to install the other two for syncing issues I discuss later. Install was simple as long as you understand electrical wiring enough to install a fan, and maybe in this case just the basic ability of following instructions. Each control kit came with five plastic twist wire connectors. Installing three control kits, I had 15 wire connectors. As I installed the three units, two of the fifteen wire connectors (13%) came apart where the inter metal separated from the plastic outer piece. Perhaps I was twisting too much, yet I've never had this problem with other wire connectors. There were already wire connectors before I installed these control kits, so I reused those when the two failed. My biggest concern was having three identical remote controls that would control three different lights/fans (How would they sync separately?). I really didn't want one remote in my boy's bedroom to turn on the light in my girl's bedroom or the third bedroom. Other products had toggle switches at the control unit and the remote control to sync them up. This product does not have that, and I'm not sure if this was required, yet here were my steps to avoid one remote controlling two lights/fans (follow all precautions for electrical safety with breakers, etc. I will not list breaker steps here): 1) Turn off the wall light switch in bedroom 1 and install one Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control Kit in bedroom 1. Turn on the wall light switch and test remote light and fan buttons. Everything worked as advertised for me, including the timing feature which can be convenient when needed. 2) Turn off wall light switch in bedroom 2 and install second kit in bedroom 2. Go to bedroom 1 wall light switch (not the remote's light button) and turn it off. Then turn on wall light switch in bedroom 2 and test remote light and fan buttons. Only bedroom 2 should be working. I then went to bedroom 1 and turned its wall light switch on and tested its remote. Luckily both remotes worked for their respective bedrooms. 3) Turn off wall light switch in bedroom 3 and install third kit in bedroom 3. Go to bedroom 1 and 2 wall light switches and turn them off. Then turn on wall light switch in bedroom 3 and test remote light and fan buttons. Only bedroom 3 should be working. I then went to bedroom 1 and 2 and turned their wall light switched on and tested their remotes. All three remotes only worked for their respective rooms. It might have been overkill and maybe each remote is already assigned to its control unit at the factory, yet I didn't want to mess around and this worked for me. I gave it 5 stars, yet I thought about 4 stars in terms of build quality. Both the remote and the control are plastic that doesn't seem too sturdy. The wires from the control unit seem cheap as well compared to wires from the fan itself; I understand different wire gauges, yet I don't know how to describe the differences. The remote came with a simple wall mount, yet pressing the remote's light and fan buttons causes the remote to toggle towards the wall in the wall mount. This could have been designed better so the remote would not move if you want to press the buttons while the remote is in the wall mount. Overall, five stars, maybe four, yet it works as advertised and it was very affordable so perhaps a high build quality can't be expected. Oh, one more thing my wife doesn't like is that every push of the remote's light or fan button causes a beep at the control unit. I personally like the audible feedback that the control unit received the signal from the remote control. My wife does not; to each their own.

Great Replacement Remote – Easy Install & Works Well
I bought this remote as a replacement for the original one that came with my Harbor Breeze ceiling fan, and it worked perfectly without needing to replace the fan itself – a huge plus! The receiver unit is compact, which made it much easier to fit into the canopy compared to bulkier models. The wiring was also straightforward – standard color-coded wires made installation a breeze (lol). The antenna wire is long enough that I was able to tuck it neatly toward the down rod through the center of the canopy, keeping it completely out of sight without affecting the signal. One of the standout features for me is that the remote uses 2 AAA batteries. They’re so much easier to find and replace than the odd-sized batteries some remotes use. The range on the remote is excellent too – I can control the fan and lights from across the room with no lag. The only downside is that it doesn't have a memory function. So every time you turn the power back on, it defaults to the lights on and the fan off, which can be a bit annoying if you prefer a different setup. Still, for the price and ease of use, this is a solid replacement. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to replace a worn-out or lost ceiling fan remote!

Build Quality Seemed Questionable But Product Works as Intended and Seller Went Above and Beyond
Not sure if my experience was just a fluke or if I'm just pickier than most, considering that an overwhelming majority of the reviews here are stellar. Anyways, here's my experience. The Good: - Easy and straightforward to use and works just as expected, especially once the beeps are disabled (more on that below). - The ability to control the lights and fan separately, and probably the biggest reason to get this setup in the first place, if you have the fan and light wired together to a single switch and are tired of having to fumble around with the pull chains. - Timer function (I honestly don't see myself using it much, if at all, but it's nice to have!). The Bad: - Cheap build quality. The remote itself is ok, it's the control module (the black box that one wires into the fan in order for the remote to do its thing) that I have an issue with. It just leaves a lot to be desired, and ultimately the reason for the 3-star rating. - The wires coming out of the control module felt quite flimsy, to the point I found myself questioning if it would even be safe to use. - By far my biggest complaint, and the one that compelled me to write this review, is the fact that the wire nuts that came with this kit were completely useless and would literally fall right off, leaving the wires' connections fully exposed. I tried twisting the wires in different ways, trying different wire nuts, but they all kept falling off no matter what I tried. To me, this is completely unacceptable, not to mention a potentially big fire hazard... Needless to say, that right there killed any remaining confidence I had in this kit. Thankfully, I had a few spare wire nuts laying around and I was able to complete the install properly. Additional Things to Keep In Mind (Not Factored Into the Rating): - By default, the remote will beep whenever a button is pressed. I personally despise this feature as I find it to be utterly annoying and tacky. Luckily, as I read through the full description, I was able to figure out that the beeps can be disabled by simply pressing and holding the 8-hour timer button for 3-5 seconds until a double beep is heard, and voila, no more beeping! Had I not been able to disable this, I probably would've given this a 1-star rating and just bought a different remote kit. - It wasn't until after making this purchase that I noticed there is another version of this exact same kit that has a smaller control module. I would strongly consider getting that one instead, especially if your fan has a smaller canopy, you have a shallow electrical box, or both (like I do). I ended up having to cut off part of the plastic housing in order to get it to fit in the canopy (as seen in the attached photo). UPDATE: The seller reached out to me about this issue very propmtly and offered a replacement. I was able set my kit properly (see above) and it works exactly as intended. But at least you can rest assured that if you happen to get a defective product, the seller will be VERY helpful.

O produto não serve, como informado, para ventiladores Hunter, por ser bivolt e não se adaptar as diferentes velocidades, forçando o motor; portanto, não recomendo.
