Is this whistle suitable for a scout leader who wants to get the scouts to shut up?

It’s a good little whistle with a good high pitch so I’d definitely say good fir scout leader

Are these really loud? I want to blow it down my landline at persistant scam callers.

I used mine to call a field of 200 children in at the end of playtime, so yes, I would say they are loud. As most scam callers seem to be automated, however, I'm not sure how effective this would be. I feel your pain though.

I bought these because I receive a great many scam calls. I let them speak for enough time to satisfy me of their purpose and without warning let rip. It has the desired effect. My neighbours agree with my action.

DAM this whistle is LOUD!!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic whistle I work in a school and use this for playground duty we have a huge playing area... This whistle is so loud every child hears it and stops.... Highly recommended love that it's plastic. Verylightweight and durable.....

Great whistles

Bought for a lifeguard course as a temporary substitute for my tornado to come. Works very well and is very loud which is great for a swimming pool environment. Also great for fancy dress as an accessory I used for when I had to dress up as a football coach! Would definitely recommend for a whistle that is loud and clear.
