Nice design with optional light. Quiet operation. Does a good job keeping two automatic watches fully wound. Much cheaper than many available alternatives but low price not an indication of low quality. Haven't tried it with batteries yet.

First off, the box is beautiful. It runs very quietly and the blue LEDs provide a nice glow. I also like the ability of having the rotation stop when you open the lid (controlled by a switch). It came with a power adaptor so you don't have to run it on batteries. But what I really want to comment on the after-sale service. This was an appreciated Christmas present, but started acting up in February. It started 'dragging' when two watches were installed. Going back through my Past Orders, I found where I could contact Amazon for help. After a short online chat, the Amazon rep told me that the seller would be handling the problem. He gave me a phone number to call. I called once and left a message. Through my own fault, I missed their callback - unrecognized number; I thought it was a telemarketer. I left another voicemail and followed up with an email to [email protected] Within 12 hours I had a reply that they were going to ship out a new winder as soon as the warehouse stock comes in. That led me to expect a six week delay or something but, no, it was just a few days before I got another email that it would be delivered the next week. And it was. The responsiveness and promptness is impressive. Thank you, Erics! (signed) a very happy customer.

Looks great and worked well at first, but about 16 months in one side completely stopped working. For the price, I expected much better longevity. I reached out to the seller and received no support or help at all. This is an expensive watch winder to fail so quickly. Very disappointing and I would not buy it again.

This winder works well with my Rolex and the motor is very quiet. It looks great. However, I had a single winder and bought this so I could also keep another watch wound. I purchased a 1st Cav branded watch during my Vietnam tour in 69. It is much smaller than my Rolex and the winding mechanism is much lighter. It had been in a drawer for most of the time I have been home, but I want to wear it occasionally. This winder doesn’t work for this watch. I believe it is because the watches are tilted about 45 degrees from vertical. I’ve tried all the settings and none work. I put this watch in my single winder which stores the watch vertically and it appears to be winding properly. Keep this in mind if you have a smaller, lighter automatic watch.

My husband loves it. Unit looks high quality. Controls are in awkward position, but once you set them you won't have to think about them. I found that if you put in batteries (as back up) the power converts to the batteries and slows down power. I prefer plugging unit into electrical outlet without batteries in unit. It's quiet. Holds 4 watches with lots of room to rotate without touching each other. There are several options on direction to wind watches - clockwise, counter clockwise, and a combination of both which is mimics natural human body movement.

I love automatic watches... the craftsmanship and thought of all those tiny parts working together is awesome. But I can't wear them all, so what to do with those I'm not wearing? Well, this is the perfect winder! The model I bought can hold up to 4 watches and has several different winding cycles. It's basically silent, which is nice. The finish is smooth and well crafted. I saw some reviews about watches falling, but I don't see how that's possible. You can fit your watch on the pillow two different ways and the pillows fit very snuggly in their cradle. Plus with the angle, there's no real pull to cause a watch to fall to the bottom if it's properly inserted. When mine arrived, it was missing the key so I contacted the shipper and was sent a replacement right away, so excellent customer support. I can only think of one recommendation. The LED to light up in the side is on the top left side of the case so only the watches on that side get good illumination. I would recommend the LED be in the center. I can recommend this item.
