I plugged these into a smart plug but they don’t come back on when I switch the plug on? I have to use the remote

Every time you turn them off or the power is disconnected as in a smart plug, you will have to switch them on via the remote.

Mine did not come with any instructions. How does the timer function work? I’d like to use it as a sleep timer if possible

Press the timer button on the remote, the fairy lights will flash one time, the flash indicates the timer has been setted successfully, the lights will last for 6 hours, and then will be turned off automatically.

How do i leave my fairy lights on permanently

There is several different program settings on the box, as long as you have them plugged in all the time and on the right settings it shouldnt be a problem ( please read the warnings about having lights on all the time, it is very dangerous)
