Safety Lanyard Leash for Pedometer (1) Unit (Pink)

This lanyard saved me from losing my pedometer countless times. For the price, it's so worth it. I ordered the pink, and I probably should have ordered the black or less girly color. But, color aside, its functionality is perfect.

This is an okay product, depending on your needs. I purchased it to replace an Omron leash that broke at the plastic clip end that attaches to clothing for extra security so the pedometer does not fall out of a pants pocket or when shoved into a waistband, for example.I purchased the pink leash color, which is a light to medium classic blue-toned pink (color in the image was accurate on my monitor). The leash was fairly inexpensive at three dollars with free shipping.There are several things I do not like about this design. The PedUSA leash pink flat cord is too long (~7" long), with an overall length including clips and cords of ~10 3/4". The cord is scratchy where the pink ends are folded over and sewed (and maybe heat sealed giving a hard edge, so nylon-like cord does not fray). Not evident from the picture, the end clip that attaches to clothing is an ugly, shiny silver metal (the picture is deceiving and makes it look like both clips are black). The clip is quite large (unnecessarily large to me), bulky and uncomfortable when clipped to a waistband. The clip is almost 5/8" wide x 1 1/4" long (including the opening where the cord is attached). The clip opening where the pink flat cord attaches is 5/8" wide but the cord is only slightly larger than 1/4" wide, so the cord slides around on the clip. The clip has 3 wide zig zag teeth that are sharp and have damaged some of my clothing (need to be very careful when attaching and removing). The silver clip also has some sharp edges.The other end of the leash has a tiny black cord that threaded just fine through the opening on my pedometer and loops back through itself (same method as previous leash). There is a black plastic clip 1/2" wide x 1" long between the tiny black cord and the pink flat leash cord. This clip allows the pedometer to be detached from the pink corded leash (sort of the detachable "valet key" idea). This feature is not useful to me since I always want the leash attached to my pedometer. This extra black clip also makes the leash more bulky.I may try to find a smaller plastic clip to replace the bulky metal clip that damages clothing and then sew on the new clip and shorten the leash in the process; I would also likely get rid of the black plastic detach clip. This would essentially re-engineer the whole product. I would recommend looking for an alternative product.

Works great, I have two. It has started to rust after wearing this summer at my pants band, but it still hold good.

Well made strap (1/4" x 7" on nylon material plus clasps totals out to 9" not counting string loop). Nice clear pink color as advertised. String loop end has a detachable plastic dog collar type clip which is a nice feature. The metal clasp end is very strong and has gripping teeth. Great quality and value.

Works for my purposes!

The loop section is way too long for my needs. Otherwise, the clasp works very well.
