These are not made of the best quality in the world but for hanging light things they work well.Adjustable but make sure you get the right size range.Once installed it doesn't budge unless you pull on whatever it's holding up.

It works as expected. Note that the material is very thin metal. It bends easily and so do not force.

These are made okay, but don't plan to hang anything on them. They are very light duty.

Perhaps the manufacturer includes two curtain rods in this package based on the assumption that the user will break the first one in trying to install it. Anyway, that's what happened to me. Of course, a better strategy would be to improve the quality of the rods and/or improve the installation instructions.Here's the problem: the end-cap on the thick end of the rod is not strongly-attached, so that if there is any significant pressure from the spring the cap pops off and the spring dangerously pops out (see photos). This can be avoided if you carefully follow the installation instructions, which (casually) mention that the thick end of the rod is the one that should be planted first against the wall surface. In this way there is back-pressure on the end-cap and the spring stays in place. All the stress from putting tension on the rod to squeeze it into position is in that way taken up by the narrow end, which is isolated from the spring and therefore not in jeopardy of popping out.As I say, the instructions actually do direct you to plant the thick end first. But since the directions don't say that this is important, and don't explain why this is important, it's easy for someone in a hurry to not notice, or perhaps to assume that it really can't matter, and thus pop the end piece while trying to install it. I feel fortunate that I didn't end up with the spring hitting me in the face or eye.I've used rods of this type in the past, and was surprised by how cheesy this one is. You really get only maybe a half inch at best of play from squeezing the rod in. This is enough to install the rod if you have it extended just right, but it means that the rod is really under very little tension once it is installed, and I am a little concerned about its staying power.At the end of the day, I was able to use the second rod from the package and successfully install it with a curtain in place. Time will tell how long it will last. Overall, knowing what I know now, I would probably have looked a little harder for something of higher quality.The product is made in China.

This was very convenient to use for a window that didn't have room for an outside window covering mounting. We just slipped the curtain on it and put it in place. voila

Easy to use - but becomes loose from time-to-time and is a bit flimsy

Works well for what I needed it to do.I like that it is a thinner rod compared to most, some of these can look very bulky.It’s quick and easy to install plus it looks great in a rental space without drilling etc.So far it is very sturdy and has not collapsed or given in. We used it to hang some light weight fabric so cant comment if you are thinking to use it for a heavy weight velvet or so…Overall nice product.
