No, it is not tempered glass. It's thin glass like a borosilicate beaker. It is heat resistant. I use these as coffee mugs and have zero issues with them. The glasses are lead free.

is this the same size as the uni mug with strainer ? i need a replacement for the glass mug that comes in the uni mug set
