Convenient option for a keto or low carb diet
There are plenty of quick and easy, keto-friendly recipes for making sugar-free raspberry or strawberry jam. Unfortunately, most last only two days to two weeks, depending on the recipe. I don't eat jam that often, so for me, making an entire batch from scratch that I will only eat one or two spoonfuls of before it goes bad isn't practical. The Smucker's sugar-free raspberry preserves I bought when I first switched to a ketogenic diet tasted pretty good, but I bought it before I learned that artificial sweeteners like sucralose aka Splenda weren't suitable for a "clean" keto diet, and that regardless of the carb count, polydextrose and maltodextrin also can increase blood sugar levels and cause cravings, and therefore are also not "clean" keto-friendly. Good Good Sweet Raspberry Jam is sweetened with erythritol and stevia, which don't spike your blood sugar levels, and the only sugar it contains is the natural sugar inherent in the berries. I love the fact that this jam is 50% raspberries, and that, in addition to the erythritol and stevia extract, the only other ingredients are pectins (to make the pureed berries gel) and a little potassium sorbate as a preservative. When I first opened the jar, I was dismayed to find that it was fairly "loose" and that the liquid had separated and pooled at the top of the jar. However, after I stirred it very well (to mix the liquid back into the solids) and chilled it thoroughly, it had a firmer consistency that I could spread fairly easily on keto bread. With only clean, healthy ingredients, it doesn't have the same texture or taste as the very thick, very sweet, intensely-flavored, sugar-laden raspberry preserves I had eaten for many decades, until I chose to eliminate added sugars and other sweeteners with a high glycemic load. So, if you're expecting it to be very similar to regular, grocery store raspberry jam, you will be disappointed. However, since the majority of natural, keto-friendly alternatives with clean have noticeably different textures and tastes than their high-carb and/or highly processed counterparts, my expectations were realistic. While I prefer the taste and texture of homemade keto-friendly raspberry jam, I like the Good Good Sweet Raspberry Jam well enough, and since it has a much longer "refrigerated shelf life," so to speak, it's much more practical for my needs. FYI, Good Good also makes a Belgian Choco Hazel Spread (Nutella-inspired and also keto-friendly) that pairs nicely with the raspberry jam on keto bread for a raspberry and chocolate-hazelnut sandwich. (Don't knock it until you've tried it!)

Natural berry taste. Not ruined by added sugar.

A great keto option for sure!
I really like this jam. It tastes and feels more like real jam than anything I've found so far that works with my specific dietary choice. It's not overly sweet but very good. I'm excited to try to make some keto thumbprint cookies with this, as the weather is changing and those cookies are a fall favorite. I wish the price point was a little lower but I feel like it was worth it for the "real jam" experience. I had previously been eating the Walden Farms Raspberry Jelly which is very thin, doesn't really spread well and lacks flavor. Since this is a real jam vs a jelly, it has the seeds which brings texture. I am very pleased.

Got my Jelly Fix
I've been on the keto plan for a couple of months now, no sugar which is very difficult for me. I had a craving for toast with butter and jelly so purchased the raspberry flavor. Honestly, it's not bad. It is not as sweet or jelly like as traditional sugar made jelly, its thinner and a bit tart, but it still gave me a good butter and jelly on toast fix. Now if I could only find a decent keto bread...

Too watery!
This review is regarding the Raspberry flavored "jam." The flavor wasn't bad, but it seemed pretty diluted to me and was very watery. When I tried to pour off some of the excess liquid, the whole darn contents fell out into my kitchen sink! This was after I'd already had a chance to use some of it on my buttered keto toast, so I was able to taste-test it. The jam was very slippery, so I couldn't get it out of the jar directly with a knife; it kept sliding off, so I had to use a spoon--no "Biggie," just a little annoying. I bought two jars, and I won't mind using the second jar. But I doubt that I'll order the Raspberry again. I WILL order more of the Blackberry jam, which is thicker, less watery, a little more like regular sugared jams.

Pulverized Jar!
Opened up the box to be greeted by pulverized glass and jam on my hand as soon as I opened the first flap. I had heard things moving around inside and wasn't sure what was in the box. Was extremely sad and disappointed to find it was my sugar free raspberry jam - or what was left of what used to be the jam!!! I had received the blueberry and strawberry jams the previous day with no problems - and they are delicious. Was really looking forward to the raspberry but got this. As you can see it was not packaged properly (the blueberry and strawberry ones had been meticulously wrapped in bubble wrapping - you can clearly see this didn't happen for the poor raspberry jar). After cleaning the glass/jam mess off my hand and my desk, I hopped onto Amazon to initial a return. My disappointment turned to irritation when, after making my type in the description of the problem, I then got a message the item was not eligible for a refund. Yes, it's only $8 but now I was pissed. Called Amazon Customer Service and the agent made it right and refunded me the $8. I really wanted to try the raspberry, but now am VERY hesitant to try ordering again for fear this would happen again. Same for ordering any more blueberry or strawberry! :(

Very tasty
This stuff is really good and no artificial sweeteners or added sugars, as advertised. I found it in a grocery store once but they stopped carrying it. So happy to find it on Amazon!
