Dyson Air Multiplier AM06 Table Fan, 10 Inches, White/Silver (49095-01)

I just received my Dyson desk fan and I am flabbergasted at how much it cools! I was concerned after reading many reviews that it wouldn't be powerful enough but that is not the case. I use it on my kitchen table when I'm working and it cools me perfectly and easily circulates the air throughout the room. I can even feel it when I'm 12 feet away cooking. It looks gorgeous as do all Dyson products. I got the white with silver and it matches everything very well. Assembly was super easy and took 5 minutes only. The remote control is superb and attaches to the fan magnetically so you don't lose it(love this feature). Noise level is also nominal even on the highest setting. If i need to make a phone call I simply turn it down 2-3 levels. It has a timer feature so you can set it and forget it lol. This fan is a thing of beauty. It is a great example of form and function joining together. If you need a great desk fan for your office or kitchen I would not hesitate to buy this Dyson fan. However, I wouldn't recommend it entirely for use in a large bedroom as I don't feel its powerful enough for an entire bedroom. Remember, this is designed to be used as a desk fan not floor fan. If your looking for a bedroom fan look at Dyson's larger product offerings. I absolutely love, love this fan! Congrats Dyson you hit it out of the park with this product. Even though I bought it from Amazon warehouse at a deep discount, I still get Dyson's 2 year parts and labor warranty which is very important to me. My first but certainly not my last Dyson product. The Dyson V8 stick vacuum will be my next purchase shortly.

This is a very nice indoor fan, looks cool, has time, run and swivel settings.... People might ask you what it is, if they see it the first time, kind of funny.... It works great, energy efficient and can save money using less AC.... I can really recommend this item, I have mine for 13years now, and it still working like the first day ...!!...

Admittedly, I was hesitant to purchase such an expensive fan. But if you're looking for a quiet fan that really moves the air, this is it. I have a home recording studio, but I live in a rental apartment in NYC and am unable to create a vent system as one would normally do. In the winter and fall, the room is a reasonable temperature. In the summer, however, it gets unbearably hot when recording. I would open the door in between takes but it just wasn't enough to cool the room. But I can't run a loud fan during recording, so I went in search of something that would give me solid air circulation without a lot of noise. This fan is it. On the lowest setting, you get a nice cool breeze and even on sensitive recording equipment, it barely generates any noise at all. That's on setting 1. On setting 10, it would definitely show up on a recording, but still only sounds as loud as a car air conditioner at a low setting, and generates a LOT of airflow. The remote makes it extremely convenient in any room, and allows you to adjust the rotation of the fan as well as the speed 1 - 10. Overall, this is an incredible fan that works quietly to cool off any sized room.

Truly remarkable. I cannot Have noise in my home office. We were having a sweltering summer and i had to keep my ceiling fan off. A standing fan was too loud. A desk top fan was too loud, but this fan is stellar. I can place it high and rotate to cool down an entire small room or keep it stationary on the floor to blow directly on me. Most efficient fan I’ve ever owned, 10 speeds, and it’s quietest fan I’ve ever owned. Looks cool too. Remote is small- really small so keep it out of reach of pets- even cats, it works perfectly. Price point is a little high or I’d buy more for other rooms.

I bought this fan to use as a low-noise alternative to my current fans. I needed less noise to decrease sound interference when using a microphone for voice recognition. I like it. The best fan that I have to compare this fan with is a 3-speed, 9-inch, wire caged air circulator that I got for ~$15 from a local grocery store's seasonal aisle. I will start with comparing both fans at their most powerful and their loudest. The Air Multiplier at Speed 10(the highest) produces similar air flow to Speed 3 of the Air Circulator at about 80% of the noise. As you cycle lower, however, the ratios improve in favor of the Air Multiplier. Air Flow The Air Multiplier at speed 5 has similar air flow to the Air Circulator at speed 2 The Air Multiplier at speed 3 has similar air flow to the Air Circulator at speed 1 Noise The Air Multiplier at speed 8 has similar noise to the Air Circulator at speed 2 The Air Multiplier at speed 6 has similar noise to the Air Circulator at speed 1 Personally, I like the fan at speed 5 as it produces noise levels comparable to a soft whisper while still producing significant enough air flow to keep me cool during these summer months. The noise generated by the Air Multiplier does not meaningfully impact my accuracy levels when using the microphone and speech recognition software. I wouldn't recommend this fan for noise reduction if you need much more power than speed 2 of a 9" air circulator. Do get it if you're looking for something of comparable power to that with significant noise reduction. This product would have been 5 stars if it were half the cost. I paid 15x more for the Air Multiplier than I did for the Air Circulator. Ultimately, my choice to try this fan came down to the necessity of a quieter fan combined with my trust in the Dyson brand. The product is quality for what it is. As a relatively naive-to-the-world-of-fans customer, though, I was hoping for about twice the output:noise ratio given the price point. Overall, this product works for what I needed it for. I decreased the ambient noise levels in my office while maintaining the air flow that I've found necessary to remain comfortable.

I am sure the product is great, I have many Dyson products. The company Diana, has a TERRIBLE return policy. I did not even open the box as it was a gift for my sister but she wouldn't accept me spending so much on her. I returned it but had to pay the fee for return $ 70 (cheapest option). I will NEVER buy anything from Diana company again.

The item arrived as promised. Unfortunately the battery for the remote control was dead which initially led me to incorrectly conclude that the remote control was not working properly. Once I put in the new battery the fan has been working just great. I would recommend this product.

When you think of Dyson, you expect quality. Don't. This product turned me off of anything that has that name on it. It sickens me that I went on their reputation without doing my homework.
