Purchased this Mantel in April 2017 and the install was quick and easy. Unfortunately, the Mantel fell yesterday without any warning. We never placed any items on top of it so it fell under its own weight. The hanging bracket was still in place and undamaged but the Mantel bracket failed due to poor/weak bracing structure and lack of proper fasteners. Now I have to deal with a damaged floor. Beware of the quality!
