This muzzle saved my life. I foster and I brought a border collie into my home where I currently have small and medium dogs. I can usually get the pack together within one day with one on one's away from the house and partner walks in the neighborhood but not this time. This girl hated the littles. I knew that I was getting tense which was probably making it worse. I've never used a basket muzzle before but after doing some research I ordered this one. I love it! I was probably luckier than most because this dog did not resist the muzzle at all. I did not have to ease her into it as she immediately took to it like it wasn't even there. I restarted my one on one's but this time I wasn't anxious and felt comfortable letting her make actual contact with my calmest dog. I was able to get her to respond to verbal commands after about one day with the muzzle and Stevie. Then one after another we repeated with the other dogs and then started having group sessions. I still will not leave her unsupervised with all of them but at least we are now living in harmony. The best part of this experience was having the muzzle as a safety tool so I could get a dog that did not acknowledge any commands to one that now obeys almost every command and immediately recalls when asked. Picture is her when we were doing group time in the house with the muzzle on and the second picture is her now when we are watching t.v. and a little dog lays down practically on her head and she doesn't even move.

As you can see, my girl is not very happy with being muzzled. She just looks so pitiful! But it's her own fault. She has a bad habit of lashing out at the cats and other dogs. We were keeping our son's dog while he went to visit family with his girlfriend, and our girl was not happy with her being in the house. She tried to go after her as soon as she saw her. Luckily I had ordered the muzzle ahead of time because of past behavior even around dogs she has been around quite a lot. She has injured two of our cats, and my in-laws dog even though we've worked with her and worked on her behavior since we rescued her. Now it could have something to do with her prior owners, but I know she was around cats and dogs at her prior home and got along with them. That fact had a lot to do with us taking her in to our home with our other animals. Most times she's okay, but she has her moments. So knowing how she is, I wanted to be sure I could control her acting out when I needed to, hence getting this muzzle. She can drink in it, and take small treats. It is just a tad small in the length on her snout, but I went with the recommended size for her breed. It doesn't hurt her or anything like that, I would just prefer a tad more room for it to not sit against her nose. Though if she doesn't try to get it off by rubbing her face along the ground and grabbing at it with her paws, it will stay where it isn't directly against her nose. She settles right down once it's on too, which I'm glad of. She is well aware of when she's doing wrong, and is a master at the poor me face!! Almost makes you feel bad for putting it on her, or fussing at her when she does bad things, I'm sure many others can relate to the tootsie roll eyes and the poor me faces!!! I'm glad that is has worked for her. She has managed to get it off a couple of times, but once I tightened the strap just a little bit she hasn't been able to get it off since so that's good! If your pup is aggressive I'd recommend a muzzle, and this one has worked well for us. Our girl is a German Shepherd - Blue Heeler mix. Hope this helps someone to decide! Be well

Following the sizing chart helped me match the perfect size to my dog. I like that it has wide gaps so she’s not to constricted, can let her tongue hang out and receive treats easily. Just need to take your time like the instructions guide and let your dog get used to it. I’m really happy with the quality

Es ist der einzigste Maulkorb, den mein Hund trägt, alle anderen versucht er wieder abzuziehen. Passt sich genau an. Stoff ist leider etwas hart, unten fürs Maul ist aber genügend Platz zum trinken und für Leckereien. Donut bekommt super Luft und es hält auch super, wenn er im See rumalbert.

We have a giant dog breed and have found it hard to find a muzzle to fit him comfortably. This fits well and Dexter feels comfortable wearing it. It is a strong material and there is plenty of breathing/panting room when on longer walks.
