I use these all the time. I don’t want chemicals sprayed around my house and these are safe. The ants take right to it and disappear within days.

This is the second year I bought this and it definitely eliminates my ants. I have them every Spring and Summer. Other ant killers I tried over the years only reduced the numbers. I don’t think the queen was ever killed until I purchased this stuff. This is the first year, in the 25 years I have lived in this house, that the tiny little grease ants were completely eliminated and I haven’t seen a one. I had some black ants come in for the first time and got this again and they are completely gone too.One important thing to add is that my new little puppy cannot penetrate the metal containers with her teeth. I have them tucked back behind things but she manages to get one behind my toilet. So much tougher than the ones that are made of thin plastic or worse yet, pieces of cardboard .

So many products make extravagant promises and then, don't deliver. This one delivers. I had a terrible invasion of ants. The non-toxic spray I have killed the ants on contact, but then I had to vacuum them up, and of course, since the queen was still alive, other workers would simply invade my home. After reading several reviews, I decided to try this. It worked! I put the little round containers in strategic places, and within twenty-four hours, I didn't see another ant. (I didn't have any dead ants on my floors, either, but if you do, it's okay to vacuum them up.) This works by disrupting the nervous system of the ants, slowly paralyzing them and then killing them. (I don't like to inflict that kind of torture even on an ant, but when it comes down to the ants or me, the ants have to go.) The ants are attracted to the sweet smell of the gel or granules in the container (though we can't smell it), and they carry it back to the colony, where everyone proceeds to feast on it, including the queen. With the queen dead, the colony disperses, if any ants are left alive. This will not harm adult humans, unless they'd eat a lot of it, and I assume no one is going to do that. It is best to keep it away from young children, dogs, and cats, though. Now, I have a Maine Coon, but he is very finicky and won't eat anything but his own food, which he, himself, has selected. I watched him carefully, but he had no interest at all in the containers. The ants, however, were drawn to them like a magnet, and in twenty-four hours or less, no more ants! I love that! Before using this product, I couldn't set a glass of iced tea down without it drawing a parade of ants. My Maine Coon would find ants in his food bowl, and I would have to dump any food, wash his bowl, then get him clean food. This stuff works. It does what it says it'll do, but please, keep it away from young children, dogs, and cats. It could make them sick, maybe, maybe not, but you don't want to take the chance.

Have now used EIGHT of them over time and still get a few dozen ants randomly around. Enraging really. I got them bc supposed to be safe with animals, turns out, ants are some of those animals

I’ve been bothered with black ants every summer for 3 years. My landlord sprays outside around the entire base of the house, but I refuse to let him spray inside because I have a dog and cat and he wants to spray where I don’t want him to. I’ve tried other traps in the past without much success. Based on all the positive reviews, I decided to try these. I put one under the couch and one under a portable cabinet in the kitchen - the 2 rooms that have high numbers of ants. Both traps are inaccessible to my dog or cat. At first I really didn’t notice a difference, but now it’s been 2 weeks and I can’t remember the last time I saw a black ant. While I haven’t found any dead ants around the traps, I haven’t seen any live ants anywhere. I’m really pleased with the results, and will be buying more of these traps in the future, now that they have proven themselves to be a total success. I can confidently say that if you are having ant problems and are having a difficult time getting rid of them, buy these traps! You won’t be sorry because they really do work. It is such a pleasure not to see ants on my kitchen counters, my kitchen floor, or my living room floor. I thank the manufacturer for making such an outstanding product that does exactly what it says it will do.

During the rainy season of SFL, I ended up with an ant problem. I got this and set them in the area I saw the ants and within a week, I didn’t have anymore ant problem. I only used two and still have two remaining. It’s been months since my ants problem was resolved and I haven’t encountered any more ants. I love how easy this is to use and it’s not messy. I used another product before which required pouring out liquid into these dishes. The liquid were sticky and my toddler would find it and pour it either on the floor or his table causing a huge cleanup mess. I don’t have to worry about that or wonder if he may have accidentally taste it with this product. 5 stars all the way!!

First, I wanted to clarify what some other reviews had mentioned about the product being "empty". I also thought one was empty, and could not see anything with a flashlight. So, I opened it. Actually, the product is in a thin film, less than 1cc (1/4oz), that is white to clear looking, and cannot be seen with a flashlight looking into the holes. But, it is there, and is likely enough for those small ants. Obviously, if they do manage to eat it all, you will need to replace the station with another. But, I found that one station took care of my whole colony within 24 hours. I did notice that my dog could smell it tucked underneath a step to the deck, but did not bother it, nor could she have. That was a plus. So, overall I'm pleased with the price point, effectiveness and durability/resistance to other animals.
