Excellent shredder
This is a very reliable shredder. I brought this years ago I think before the Pandemic and it’s still works like brand new. And the Micro-cuts is a bonus. I just wish there was a way to put a garbage disposal bag inside of it to clean up the trash debris inside the canister.

Works Great
I have had my Fellows shredder for quite some time now, but I just decided to give it a review. We installed it in our home office and we really can't imagine not having it. So many items you just don't want to just tear something up and this shredder really does the job. I can either use the automatic feeder and place a stack of papers in it or use the single sheet feeder and place up to 5 sheets; but either way, the job gets done. I love it and give it a 5.

Big improvement. Handles 50 pages easily.
A very big improvement over the slightly smaller model. It works well and quieter. The automatic feed handles approximately 50 pages happily. The bin holds approximately 100 pages shredded.

So-so performance. Jamming up regularly after first day.
Update: I sent it back. After spending a couple of hours making little headway on my shredding, resulting in one almighty jam, I packaged it up and sent it on its way. This was unacceptable.Again, these were not huge, thick slabs of tough paper. I was trying to shred old financial statements in thin sheaves of probably 10 pages or less. I had treated myself by splurging on this more expensive shredder. I am very disappointed - it really didn't perform better than my old $100 shredder.I have ordered a $35 galvanized burn bin instead. I live in a rural area, so I will go back to the caveman approach.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Eh. It's OK. This is my fourth shredder in the last 20 years, so I have had my struggles. I really was hoping this would be as jam proof as it was claimed to be. The first bag or so of shredding was smooth. Starting on the second bag's worth it has been jamming about every 2-3 minutes. This is all standard stuff - old bank statements and the like that I have been meaning to get rid of, but did not because I hated my old shredder so much. So, it's back to old routine. Oil when needed, keep some needle nose pliers handy for pulling those jams out and generally baby it along.I really wish that companies would test their products in real world settings before advertising them. I'm guessing that their performance and "jam free" claims are based on feeding reams of pure white paper through, fresh from the box. Not wodges of old bank statements. And no, I did not overload it.So it's back to the love-hate relationship I have with shredders. This is better than my old one, but jam-free or leave-alone-to-do-it's-job? Nope. It barely crossed the threshold for me keeping vs returning it.(For background, I am an engineer.)

Would buy again
I have owned several different shredders. My last one was a Fellowes. Since the thing lasted so many years, I decided on another Fellowes, though this one is an upgrade. Wow. I am fully impressed. The automatic document feed makes shredding large volumes easy. I am shredding so much more quickly than before. The microcut makes me feel more secure about the paper waste; no one will want to put these confetti back together.I haven't shredded credit cards, but I did put in paperclips (manual feed). Most of my statements came folded in envelopes and are not flat when unfolded. The automatic feed took care of them. When the bin is full, it tells me. I just pull it out and empty; the top does not need to be lifted. It ran for quite a long time before overheating. We just have to let it rest for half an hour and then it's ready to roll again. This was a great purchase. I would buy it again.

Large hopper capability, perfect for home office
This thing really rips. Best one I've owned. Gobbles up most mail without having to open it - even newsletters. Tears through CD, credit cards, etc.

6 months going strong
This is my 3rd shredder in 3 years. I was looking for a multi page shredder. I've tried the closed lid version that "pinches" the paper and without fail it would work on and off. Both ended up dying within a few months. This has been going strong. It does an excellent job grabbing pages one at a time in the stack and hasn't jammed yet. I keep it oiled regularly because I've become paranoid.I decided I owed it a review because I just shredded some paper after letting it sit for a few weeks and it worked flawlessly.I paid about a third less when I bought it though I'm not sure if the current price is worth it, but then again everything is going up.

Good item
It is a good shredder, you have to babysit it a bit if you put more than 20 pages in the tray, also you have to wait to add to the pile in the feed tray until previous pile is done completely or it will grab the entire stack,Get overload and get stuck. Beast thing about this shredder is that it is quiet.
