Maxpedition 5-Inch TacTie - Pack Of 4 (Black)

I got this to install my Rite in the Rain pouch to the molle on the outside of my backpack, so I can easily access my notebooks/pens/etc. The pouch does not have the normal molle connections - instead it has a square of webbing through which ties can be threaded. I got this set and used 2 to attach the pouch and wow! The pouch isn’t moving at all! The ties are nice, thick, and durable, easy to install if you know how to thread molle straps. Occasionally the pouch gets caught on something, but the ties have never come loose or faltered in any way. I did have to take the pouch off to wash my bag once, and it was kind of difficult to get the ties off until I used the pliers on my leatherman and then I easily got it off. Once my bag was dry I popped it back on, and now I’m good to go again!

These things are very handy and stitched very well. Maxpedition has a tutorial on how to use them on YouTube if you’re a little confused on how to install them that is clear and concise. They are very easy to install and held up well under load and abuse.

Does what it's supposed to, attach your MOLLE gear to your PALS webbing. But at the prices Maxpedition charges for their gear, these should be included and not sold separately. Made in Taiwan of quality material. They look great and the stitching is done right with nylon thread. Not easy to install but if you can figure out how to weave them in tight it will keep your stuff from flopping around too much. You will need these 5 inch tac ties for your taller pouches or the water bottle holder. The 3 inch version are for the smaller pouches like the TacTile pocket and similar.

Works as intended.

I love these things very much these do a very good job at holding bags to things like other bags or belts

How am I supposed to review a tac tie?? 1. Maxpedition quality 2. Stay where you put them 3. They can handle weight 4. They weave in and out of molly webbing like a hot knife through butter 5. They hold up really well. I have some really old ones still doing their job 6. Water resistant but not fire resistant 7. Don't really stretch out after time and crazy weather conditions 8. More solid option than the alternatives like plastic clips and longer ties with buttons

Simple to use and they hold securely. Not bulky or heavy though they could be lighter. Easy to take off as well.

Works well for attaching Maxpedition items together, would not recommend using if you want to remove and item often once they are on they stay in place well, Also you may not need it you item you are putting on you bag already has Molle straps, I ordered with my bag and some other items did not have to use many of these.

misplaced 2 (think they're on my FR-1 pouch which is misplaced. Anyway, its perfect size for the bottle holder, medical pouch and most other stuff. Durability? well lets say i bought this 10 years ago and they're just a bit dirty but afaik, not a single fray out of place. Value? well i dunno, i mean there are cheaper alternatives but after 10 years and still as strong as ever, you work it out lol

Ne convient pas à une utilisation tactique car rien ne garantie une fixation assez convainquante des passants. la poche se balade légèrement. Très bien pour une petite balade tranquille, pour ajouter une poche sur un sac à dos.
