Space Taxi: Archie Takes Flight (Space Taxi, 1)

I am a certified teacher and private tutor. I bought it to use with striving readers in grades 3 and 4 who are not reading on grade level, and I think this book would work well for young readers in grades 2 - 4. Who wouldn't want to go to work with their dad if he had a job like this?

Funny story about an eight-year-old boy who learns his father is not just a taxi driver, but a space-taxi driver. Although I had a technical thought about each planet along the space route having its own local taxi service for pickups, the story quickly consumed me and had me laughing about hilarious space cats. I recommend this book for young readers and parents reading to their kids. A delightful novel for young imaginations and families encouraging young ones to read.

it is a good book

My son and I usually read before bed each night, but this is our first chapter book (that's taking multiple nights to get through) but he's hooked! He won't let me not read this to him before bed. It's fast paced and uses language he's interested in.

This is a fun book. My son and daughter both enjoyed this as a read aloud at night. We bought the whole series. I am sure my kids will want to read them independently when they get more proficient at reading.

It is good for younger kids who aren't comfortable with reading yet. It is also a good read aloud book

Best book in the world! Loved it! A bit too short and it needs a sequel please write some more!
