I must've tried a dozen different things to deter squirrels from our bird feeders... but they'd plot and scheme and defeat everything until I installed these things at their 'jump off points' to the feeder... they've tested and tested these things - but they just can't get past them. They're not exactly beautiful to look at, but they're also pretty low profile, and I don't worry about kids getting hurt on them.

I needed it for chickens, they didn't care.

Did just what I needed it for,keeps the birds and squirrels awaySome birds have returned but not like before and I've only seen one squirrel which couldn't last long either .Still glad with this purchase

While they are super easy to install, they dont work. My girls stand and perch right on top. Spa day if you will. I want to return but cant get myself to trying ro unnail them and blah blah...so Im out of money I guess

If you look at prices for these type items, you'll see this is a good deal. You will need to attach them in some way, as the birds and/or wind will scatter them. These are light, easily moved. I use them as a blockage to the ledge under my eaves, which seems to be more effective that using them flat on a ledge.They are better than a fake owl, which the pigeons in my hood take selfies with to put on their Facebook page.

Love these for keeping my dogs and cats off of areas in my house actually. I don’t need to attach them just set them places and that generally prevents my animals from getting on the counters/tables/etc. I know it sounds silly, but I have a dog that jumps at the TV and the mantle over the fireplace... she pretty much had torn the faux mantle down, I put these on the edge by using Velcro tape since I didn’t want to further damage my wall/mantle and they have been fantastic. You get a lot of them for a great price and they are much stiffer than you would expect as well!

I was hoping my cat would be among those that hated these. She was not.

I bought these to try to keep my cats from running through the window sills of our apartment and damaging the tacky vertical blinds every building seems to have these days. Totally worked but had to buy our own adhesive. We just used the double sided Command adhesive strips for renter friendly removal.
