They are so soft and wash up nicely and lay down flat. Not heavy but yet thick enough to lay flat. They do a great job absorbing water after you get out of the shower. I’m impressed with that. I like how the rug grips to the flooring and does slide or move. I’m really happy with this rug. The camel color is warm and rich without being too dark, and it looks beautiful with the neutral linen shower curtain and bronze fixtures in my bathroom. This item was a great item just not for me. It was absorbant and it was secure enough because it did not slide around my bathroom. This item just looked too exotic in my bathroom. I go for a modern clean lines aesthetic and this was just not to my taste. In the picture it looks fine and looks plush. The pictures are not deceptive. The pictures however do not capture the unkemp look of this rug when soaked from a showerer and the picture was not taken when all the little individual strands are all going their own way. And the picture does not capture the limp lifeless look of the strands when they are pooped out from being wet and stepped on. I would suggest a different rug unless you are looking for a wild jungle look. Otherwise, the quality and grip was okay
