I brew this just like coffee and add my plant based milk as I do for coffee, While it does nottaste exactly like coffee, it does have a similar taste, and certainly looks like coffee. I am using thisin the afternoon when I don't want a lot of caffeine, and it has been working well for me.

It's a good enough coffee. I think I am bound to not find what I am looking for. I want a hot beverage, that tastes like coffee, with nothing sweet in it. Alas, this coffee has enough cocoa bean to give it a slight sweetness.

It’s really good! It totally tastes like coffee but no acidity, and it even gives you a little boost of energy even being caffein free.

Tasted kind of like dirt to me. Not bad just not something I want to drink everyday. I mixed it half and half with the hazelnut variety and that is very good and something I look forward to every morning now.

Bought this for my boyfriend who is plagued by heartburn and can no longer enjoy a morning coffee because of it. He had tried chicory root coffee years ago and said he didn’t like the taste, but he said this tasted way different and much better. He said it did taste very similar to coffee and was an excellent replacement for anyone who enjoys the taste of coffee. He said he will continue to buy this and also try a few other flavors from this brand!
