After great nephew broke our previous lid thinking it was a toy. This does the job but is pricey for just a lid.

This was to replace the original lid which was Chrome, so marked easily and stopped working. I ordered the black version so's not to show up so many marks but a silver one has arrived.

Great to be able to buy the lid separately, our switch and then motor failed after many years faithful service. When the base goes it’ll be like Trigger’s broom

Very pleased with this. It arrived promptly, fits perfectly, and is a much improved product to the original one that came with the bin, although it’s a different make. Tower would do well to upgrade their sensor bin lid in line with this one. It wasn’t cheap, but I’m a happy customer!

easy to clean

Bought this bin 6 months ago. First lid lasted around 3-4 months before stopped opening fully, or at all, despite religiously following the user guide instructions of “do’s and do not’s”. Tried new batteries, still didn’t work. Ended up ordering new lid, and after only 2 months it’s done the same.

I bought this lid after the sensor broke on our bin following 2 years of use. After just a few weeks I noticed the lid started to only open halfway and thought perhaps there was a one off issue (especially since we were extremely careful with the sensor after seeing how expensive it is to replace just the lid).We decided to return this and buy a new one from the same seller, but the new one arrived with the same issue of only opening halfway. After 1 week use, it began to open and then close almost immediately after.I would say to just buy a new bin given the price of just buying the lid alone.
