Not much to say. The Klip fits any mic snap. It functions, its secure and durable, I can move it anywhere there is a button, and it is definitely worth the price as the quality is top notch. This Klip is very versatile - I can add a button anywhere and it stays secure. Suggestion: Give your button(s) a few extra threads (sew). Buttons are installed with a quick sew from the factory.

I was tired of having my shoulder mic slipping off my uniform shirt and was looking for a solution that would take care of the problem and keep a nice appearance. This product does exactly that. I've used it for a few weeks and I am very happy with the way it works and looks. I like using it on the front of my uniform shirt on the second button from the top. I either wrap the shoulder mic behind my back and through my right side epaulette and clip it to the TMK or run the shoulder mic up the left front side of my body and clip it to the TMK. Either way works fine but I find that having the shoulder mic wrapped around my back puts the mic in a better position to transmit specially when driving since the seat belt doesn't interfere and the mic is closer to my face. The only position that I don't like is if I clip the TMK to the epaulette button since it leaves the mic at an awkward position because the shirt collar gets in the way. I don't like this position anyway because I think that it's better to have the mic at the center of your body since it's easier to keep your sight straight ahead. Oh and I forgot to mention, my mic doesn't slip off anymore. Highly recommended!

Decent quality, but the opening for the mic itself seems too large and bulky, and the overall length causes it to swing a bit more than I would like when chest-mounted.

I bought the previous version at a local tactical store. I believe it was the version made in China. It broke in about 2 months not necessarily because there was a defect in the manufacturing per se (they look virtually identical to the newer model) but because the material they used was too hard and brittle. Mine broke because as I struggled to slip the "hook" underneath the button holding my epaulette, I pressed down to hard on the microphone clip holder (the part with the TMK logo stamped on it in the picture) and the plastic fractured. I have had this version which I purchased on Amazon now since the late summer of 2012 and it is still working perfectly. I noticed that the material is a little more flexible than the older version so it has a little more give and take when you are trying to work it underneath a button. It is a great idea for holding a radio microphone: simple, discreet, light-weight (you don't notice it's there whether you are wearing a microphone or not), functional and much more comfortable than clipping your microphone to your epaulette. I don't wear my radio all day long. I put it on and take it off several times a day and this is a snap to do with this product.

I've been wearing this for a few weeks now and it's a great item. Just to clarify (because I couldn't tell from the pictures) you clip your lapel mic onto this, no parts are removed from the mic itself. It clips very securely and holds it much better than just gripping onto cloth. The keeper would probably only come off in a really rough fight or chase and the button you secure it to would basically have to rip off. This is best for hanging your mic where the cord is draping down towards your WT. If you usually pull it over your shoulder or around your back and clip it upside-down then it may pull you shirt a little funny. All in all it's a good buy and I've had several buddies look at it with greedy, covetous eyes already.

After many types of physical activities causing my radio mic to slip off and bounce behind me, leaving my unable to utilize it, I searched for a new method and found this product. After several scuffles and two pursuits, I have yet to lose my mic again. I have used it on the front buttons of the Blauer external vest carrier, as well as my normal uniform shirt's front buttons keeping my mic at my chest, and I know it will always be there. One would obviously know that if the button gets ripped off, your mic will go with it along with this holder. What I did, just as a precaution, was reinforced the button with a few more strands of strong thread. Aside from getting cut off, I don't foresee this holder going anywhere. Have recommended it to other co-workers who also now swear by this product.

The new Motorola radio mics that work with the 2025 firmware and the APX NEXT radios will not fit as the new clip is too big. Older Motorola radio mics do fit but unfortunately I was given an updated radio mic that is incompatible.

Awesome product - every LEO and/or portable radio user should have one of these. Small size doesn't stand out and does the job it was designed to do!
