25 Anthony Galla-Rini Accordion Sheet Music on CD -1

In my younger years, I had 14 years of serious accordion lessons from an extremely good (and VERY strict) instructor. Galla-Rini was one of several top flight arrangers whose songs were used for the more advanced students. I lost all of my music in Viet Nam, and this was an excellent source to get many of the songs I used to play, at a very reasonable price.For a variety of reasons I had completely given up the accordion f0r about 35 years. I just recently started again after a surgery on my hand. Finding this DVD, and several others was a pleasant surprise. The DVD has music from intermediate to very difficult, and the arrangements are quite good. I'll never get back to my previous level, but it is good to have some of my favorite accordion music available. I highly recommend this for serious players. AND, I have recently found out that there is a way to convert the sheet music into a MIDI program which I may be doing soon as that would help me with play along and timing. (I will be using Notation Composer and a couple of other programs that their support team have suggested that I use in conjunction with it.).

I had to return this because the heading says SHEET MUSIC and it was a CD. You need to change the heading. I am a musician, an accordion player, and when a heading says SHEET MUSIC, it should be SHEET MUSIC. I took lessons from Galla-Rini in my teens, a wonderful person, but I have a number of his CDs already, so could not afford to keep another one.

The work to transfer this song material to disk was very well done. I am looking forward using this music in my studies.
