Shakespeare 5242-A 36" Stainless Steel Antenna with Quick Disconnect

This antenna is perfect for my Lund fishing boat. I won’t need it all the time but I do fish the Great Lakes and need it there for sure. Remove it with a quick twist and stow it. No need to worry about hooking it while casting on smaller inland lakes. The L shaped mounting bracket looks very neat but could be a bit thicker. Waves around a little bit at the bracket. So much nicer than the big 60 inch white one I bought with the radio. As far as marine antennas go, higher is better but I believe this should do what I need on the open water. Does not come with coax or mounting screws. I’m using it with a Cobra Marine MR57B radio.

The antenna was in stock, value priced and delivered sooner than scheduled. Works well on my boat. Couldn't have asked for more.
