When testing with these strips it says my bromine levels are high but we use chlorine granules? Why would I get this reading please?

Bromine weighs 2.25 times more than chlorine so you would have to adjust the reading accordingly- it’s basically the same chemical so if the bromine is high your chlorine will be 2.25 times higher. Bromine is more stable at higher temperatures which is why it is more commonly used in spas etc - dilute or use a chlorine reducer to get to the level you want. You also want a balanced water environment. PH is most important
