Very sticky and seems to attract wasps, carpenter bees and other fling pests.
This is a good product. Wasps, carpenter bees, and horse flies are stuck all over it. Does a good job.

These work!
These are the best thing I've found so far that keeps the wasp here in south Louisiana in check. I've tried the liquid hanging traps and they are a hassle to set up and don't work. These are much easier to set up and after a couple days, you'll see wasp stuck to it.

Really Great
Had these for a couple months now and I can honestly say they work really well for me. I have one on our closed in back porch which still gets wasps on it every spring and every one has gotten caught. Haven't had to use any sprays this time. But the best thing so far is how they work beside my outdoor cameras. I have a number of the Amazon Blink outdoor cameras and for whatever reason wasps are super attracted to the cameras always setting them off. Ive put these within a foot or so of each camera and the wasps are getting caught and not giving me nearly the trouble this year of tripping the cameras off. So for me anyway in the situation I have they're excellent.

Give it a few days! It will work
For the first 3 days the trap was on the porch and nothing. Just some tiny nats. I even put food on it and wasps flew right by. Then on day 3 they started sticking and it's working great! Be sure to give it a few days. I took off one star because I have one in the house to catch any of them that come in. So far, the wasp or two that made it in the house haven't found the trap at all. I do think it just takes one to get stuck and it gives off pharmones for others who will come join it. I'm just glad it worked out on our porch.

works GREAT.....just takes patience.
The media could not be loaded. 6/20/24 - I tried to update my original purchase review after receiving my reor, but I got irritated when I could only add ONE video. Seems silly, but oh well. The pictures and video added today show how two of the reordered traps worked. Maybe I put the first one out a tad too early, but the new ones seemed to fill up way quicker than the originals. If you are on the fence and undecided on whether to buy these, just do it...they work GREAT. THE only issue I've had is in both cases, the 2 in the backyard attracted 3 times as many as the 2 in the front; so much so that I may place all 4 in back when I order again. But again, you won't he disappointed with these..................................I noticed these while searching for something to get rid of/kill wasps. After receiving my order, I let them around for a day or so. After opening, I placed three in different spots around the deck. I put the forth in the front yard in the middle of some bushes. They are easy to set up and deploy, but be careful not to touch the boards because they are VERY sticky. The first couple days, I didn't notice anything being caught, but as the week went on, I saw two in the back had each trapped a wasp, but the other two nothing. As you can see from the pictures, one is working very well in catching the bane of my existence.....WASPS!I will use anything i can use to eradicate these predators....ššæ.I'll probably order more of these later in the summer as the wasp and yellow jacket population increases, so I do recommend them. As a side note, I wish they worked on carpenter bees, but I guess nothings perfectš

Caught a Dozen Carpenter Bees, in Jersey, in the first morning.
I was skeptical, but this carpenter bee catcher works. We hung it up on April 21, 2025, and by the next morning, it had already caught at least 12 aggressive bees. Itās still catching more, and I think weāve cleared the area, on the first day.The three photos in my review show the resultsāthis thing really works. The ones on the grass must have fallen off from their weight. This really surprised us. Weāre in Northern Bergen County, New Jersey. We still havenāt opened the 2nd one in the 2-pack we ordered.

Not good for Carpenter Bees
Good at catching wasps and other smaller insects but not Carpenter Bees. Unfortunately, thatās what I had purchased for.

Surprisingly Simple Setup and Caught One Right Away!
I picked up this 2-pack of wasp traps because my garden bushes were absolutely swarming with yellowjackets in north Texas. It got so bad I couldn't even get near the area to do any weeding without them getting agitated. Honestly, I'm not great with assembling things and usually get tripped up by instructions, but these traps were incredibly straightforward. I had both of them ready to go in probably less than five minutes.I used the twist ties that came with them to hang one directly onto a branch of the most infested bush (I've added a picture to show how I placed it). I was pretty amazed ā literally within about 30 seconds of getting it hung up, a yellowjacket flew right in. Seeing that immediate result felt like a huge win already.Pros:Assembly was genuinely quick and easy, no confusing steps.Started trapping yellowjackets almost instantly after hanging.Came with twist ties needed for hanging.Cons:It feels a bit dangerous hanging it right where the yellowjackets are active; definitely a risk of getting stung during setup. The trap feels a little heavy for some of the lighter branches on my bushes, so I'm hoping it stays put and doesn't weigh them down too much.*Update* After 24 hours, I have successfully caught a ton of yellowjackets. This thing works!
