The paper has a good Christmas design in 2 deep colours which makes presents look classy when wrapped (even my bad attempts at neatness look good). The paper itself is extremely thick, just like using thick brown wrapping paper, and easy to cut and fold. No issue with tears or awkward shape parcels ripping the paper. Another massive positive is the amount you get. The rolls are huge and will last me a very long time. The negatives. There are no dotted lines on the reverse of the paper to guide you whilst cutting. Having said this, it is easy to cut but you may not be as straight without the guiding lines. The other criticism is the width of the paper. This is clearly stated in the description and I knew it was shorter before buying but from a practical point most presents need two pieces joined in order to be wide enough. All in all, great quality paper which makes presents look stylish but better for smaller gifts than larger ones due to short width dimensions. I would definitely buy again but it will be a long time before I do due to the amount you get. Update. I’ve had the paper for over 12 months and it’s still going despite having a large family for wrapping presents for however…… the review I have left is for the twin red and green Christmas paper and it is now being used for the plain brown wrapping paper.

Beautiful to look at and strong too. Easy to cut with guidance lines on the reverse. Most wrapping paper are too light and flimsy and corners end up piercing the paper but not the case here. Lots of paper in the roll too. Highly recommend

My favourite film is 'The Sound of Music'. As the song title (which is also this review's title) states, “brown paper packages tides up with string, these are a few of my favourite things.” Presents wrapped with recycled brown paper (fastened with biodegradable sellotape), with home made tags (made from good paper charity shop magazine cut-outs glued onto coloured card, with a hole punched in the top left corner), secured with jute twine gives an old fashioned look with an ecological edge. A small effort or love that goes appreciated by the recipients.🦋☀️🧡

Really nice quality. I used it to wrap presents and it allowed me to decorate it myself. You seem to get a lot in a roll, but it can be quite stiff to work with.

This is really lovely quality paper, it's thick so doesn't easily rip at corners and it's not flimsy and see-through like a lot of wrapping paper out there. However, there's a big downside... sellotape doesn't stick easily to it. I found I had to use my nails to go over and over the sellotape to make it really stick and I'm not even sure whether that's going to stay until Christmas Day. It's a real shame because this is expensive paper and, as I said earlier, it's such nice quality.
