Inexpensive, easy to install, size adjustable and can even be turned.
A downspout needs a trough or hose to prevent the water from the roof gutters just soaking right into the ground near the foundation. This is much better than a simple trough. The hose can be left quite short or extended to be fairly long. Even better, it can be turned so the water can be diverted to one side or the other rather than just straight. Looks like it will last a long time and it’s easy to move a little when cleaning the surface around it.

Does a great job flowing from 3x4 inflow to 3x4 outflow.
Worked perfectly! I needed to bend my downspout's path, and this did the charm. I did not want the expense of buying a bunch of custom angled 3x4 metal elbows and extensions, so I bought this hoping to redirect where my 3x4 downspout was heading. The large end fits great over the 3x4 inflow and is attached with screws (that you provide). - Make sure you pre-drill your holes unless you have self-tapping screws. -The small end is loose inside a 3x4 outflow, but the smooth, round part above the 2x3 rectangle "squishes" perfectly into the 3x4 out-flowing downspout. Once again, you must provide your own screws for this.I would say that the length and flexibility of this product should allow many options for the DIY crowd in successfully routing their water flow. - DO REMEMBER to plan for adequate downward incline so the water does not catch and potentially back-up your downspout system. -

Drains water away from attached Spout on the House
Shorter by 1 ft. than I expected. But reaches the areas where I needed water to drain. Easy to slip onto the house attached metal Down Spout. My previous similar Flex Drain from a different manufacturer became brittle after 4-5 years & cracked. This may do the same. Guess I'll find out in a few years. But price was right. I needed one immediately. Serves its purpose well. Drains water away from the house from the metal attached Down Spout on the house to a lower drainage area away from the house. But check the Length if you need a drain for a longer distance from the house.

Great for diverting water away from foundation
The gutters on my house have drainpipes that don't extend far enough from the foundation of my house, so there's been some sinking patches (primarily in the garden area). These Flex-Drain adapters are long enough to drain the water to a spot that might need more water, and are durable enough that they've maintained their shape despite being run over multiple times by mid-sized dogs. I think you can trim them, but as they're collapsable I'd just push it in a bit more. Overall good product!

Gets the job done
This is a good product and does exactly what it was designed to do and successfully has directed the flow of rainwater away from my house. I gave the "stretch" feature 4 stars because it's basically like trying to stretch out a thick, plastic accordion. It's not the easiest to stretch apart but honestly once you have it setup how you want it it should be set forever. To no fault of the product, just beware of critters, mainly chipmunks, who have found that these are a great place for shelter. :)

Not bad for the price
This drain extension will work with both 2x3 or 3x4 downspouts. I placed mine directly on the 90 degree elbow at the bottom and it worked fine. The fit was not as tight as I expected, but it has came several big rains since installing and none of them have came off. The material was also a little thinner than I expected. Not sure about the longevity of this product yet. Only time will tell.***EDIT 9/12/21*** Took away another star because of durability. Did notice when I first got them that they were a little on the thin side, and as anticipated they did not hold up well. You are much better off to get a piece of black corrugated pipe and put a down spout adaptor on it.

Keep that rain away from your foundation!
These flexible downspout extensions are the same type that you will typically find in your local hardware or home improvement store. In fact, I purchased them through Amazon simply because my local Lowe's was out of stock when I needed them. If you are not familiar with them, these extenders allow you to divert water from your downspout away from the foundation of your house - something VERY important to do.What makes these a great product:- Price. Very affordable and easy to replace every several years as they wear or fade, etc. No big investment at all.- Flexible, as the name says. You can shape and bend the extension to guide the water where you want it to go, around shrubs or air conditioners, even around corners.- Length adjustable. Using an accordian style construction (or, corrogated if you prefer), you can extend them to their full length of about six feet, or extend just as far as you need them.- Extendable. You can join these extensions end-to-end for additional length and shaping. This is easily done by cutting them along a well marked cut line and fitting small end into large end.. and they snap in place and stay put.Available in several colors (white, green, brown, black, etc.) you can find the right one for your landscaping.Four stars, because they do what they are supposed to do; are easy to use and customize; and are inexpensive.

Great product that does the job
These are incredibly easy to install and work perfectly to direct drainage water where you want it. They can be extended a pretty decent distance and in a number of directions which can be helpful. Fully compressed they're still pretty long. This is definitely perfect for directing water in extended distances or curves.
