Nice coffee.
Nice coffee. Good that it is organic, shade grown, fair trade. Only thing I don't like is the prop 65 cancer warning. I live in California and see this warning a lot, but I don't see it on every bag of coffee or posted at coffee sections. I don't think I've ever noticed it directly on a bag of coffee. I would like a more detailed explanation why this warning is implemented. Even if it is a small trace of "chemicals" that cause cancer, so small it is "harmless" in dose, I would like to know exactly which "chemical" and what dose. I can't seem to find any info on that nor their website faq.

Would buy it again
Very fresh great smell, nice taste. I would buy it again . I just purchased this coffee again in May and I was disappointed . The coffee was not fresh . The beans had no oil and that great smell was not there . Then when I brewed a pot that great full body taste was not there . Very disappointing ! This was all true, then they got in touch with me,apologized and sent me another bag.WELL this bag was so fresh you could smell it inside the box.Not only do they make a great product,but they care about there customer's .BRAVO !

Shade grown and tastes great
I often buy a light roast coffee and then use more coffee in order to get a lot of flavor without the bitterness. I was expecting a little bitterness from this medium roast and was happy to find none. What I didn't realize is that buying coffee that is shade grown (as is all the coffee from this company) means the beans are grown slowly, like nature intended. This is what makes a bitter-free coffee. Now that I know this, I don't have to take potluck and wonder if the coffee I'm buying is going to be too bitter for me. This medium roast actually falls into the light roast category on my taste scale. So far, this is my favorite blend from this company. Full of rich flavor even when brewed strong.Sample provided for review
