Full Circle FunGuy, 2 in 1 Mushroom Cleaning Brush, Green

Bought this while I was drinking wine while watching "Good Eats". It was an episode about potatoes and he talked about needing a potato scrubber. While deep into my 3rd glass of wine while stressfully last minute Christmas shopping on Amazon, I suddenly desperately needed a potato scrubber. Next day-- totally forgot about it. Two days later, this awesome potato scrubber shows up on my porch. I'm like "What the heck?!.... Ohhhhhhh.. Right. The potato scrubber". Lol!! Well, this was one shopping under under the influence purchase I did not regret! This scrubber works great! It even has a point at the end to remove the eyes that creep up on older potatoes. Love it! Thank you Alton Brown and red wine for talking me into this great addition to my kitchen utensil drawer. Use it quite often! :)

I love this little brush and use it all the time to clean my mushrooms. It's gentle enough that it just gets off the dirt without destroying the mushroom and it looks cute. I try to eat healthy so it's made mushroom cleaning more fun. (Yes, I know, the fact that I think cleaning mushrooms is fun shows that staying safer at home has made me just a little bit on the crazy side. But crazy in a good healthy-eating kinda way!)

Hi, I just love this little thing. I eat a ton of potato dishes and cook a bunch at a time in the Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker, another kitchen must have, anyway, this is a solid little brush and base, the eye remover is just great, saves my fingers! The wood or base material will shed water, the brush is firm, dries quickly. Looks to be a sturdy piece, time will tell, but with proper care, should last me for some time! Hope this helps your decision. I accidently found this and so glad I got it. Great tool addition to my kitchen. I read all the reviews, hope you will to before you purchase. Good luck! Kat

Although it is soft enough for delicate mushrooms, it is very hard to hold and the part used to clean out the inside is basically useless. I will, however, keep it and continue to use it for the mushroom caps because it does a great job at that.

Takes a lot of force to get potato eyes out with the tool. Shape is all wrong for the hand in terms of scrubbing potatoes, and the water will get splashed on you.

Very cute sitting on the counter. Brush does what it's supposed to do. Potato 'eye' remover...ok, but not needed.What kept it from being a five star rating for me at least, is just a personal preference for the way it feels in my hand.I prefer a brush that's a bit more lilke a larger toothbrush, if you get what I mean. But again, it's very cute sitting on the edge of the sink!
